Employee benefits can either be done inhouse by the HR department of a company or outsourced,
by a benefits company. Many businesses often face the delima in deciding wether to outsource their
benefits needs or do so in an inhouse capacity.

Inhouse benefits programme involve the adaption of benefits platforms that directly suits the needs
of employees to the budget of the company. This often involves using cashback sites and implementing other available benefits programmes
like child care vouchers, cycle to work and gymflex to reflect the needs of the employees.

The benefits of inhouse employee benefits programme is the cost effectiveness of the platforms,
ability of employees to obtain immediate help and assistance in using the platforms from their own HR team and the ready availability
of benefits platforms that readily meet their needs.

While outsourced benefits companies provide a comprehensive package for benefits, the lack of originality, inability to stand alone (by depending on client's HR teams) and the
cost of this service is a huge minus for outsourcing employee benefits.

For many businesses, the better option remains an inhouse benefits solutions platform.
