Hy guys... I added Ubuntu to my Windows 10 sometimes back so I discovered I wasn't using it so I deleted it using some instructions online... After deleting and Switching on my system again I came across this grub rescue message Then I used some instructions online when I got to where to type "insmod normal" it wrote error: no such partition Pls what can I do??

Kulawyn: You can always install ubuntu in a vm, at least that way if it doesn't work your main OS is still ok |

Please is anybody running ubuntu 19.04 on a laptop, it seems the hibernate feature isn't working, i have tried various fixes to no avail, when the system hibernates it does not restore rather it boots up like a freshly powered system 1 Like |

x3da: Try this line on the command line $ systemctl hibernate obviously u have to prefix it with 'sudo'. If it doesn't work then u have to perform some tweaks. first update on the command line..ur normal $ sudo apt-get update then run this too $sudo apt install pm-utils if u wanna check if hibernating is enabled then enter $ sudo pm-hibernate don't run it without sudo.it won't work. 2 Likes 1 Share |
