the solution is as follow,
first term,a=2, common difference,d=4, number of term,n=44, sum of 44term,S44=?...........
note that d question is from AP because T2-T1=T3-T2=4........
that is, 6-2=10-6=4
lets continue by applying sum of n-term of an AP
Sn=n/2[2a+{n-1}d].......equ(1)
substitute the value of the first term, common difference and the number of term into equ(1)
we have...........
S44=11/2[2x2+{44-1}4

S44=11/2[4+{43x4}

S44=11/2[4+172]

S44=11/2[176]

S44=11x176/2

S44=11x88

which gives, Sn=968........option c....


NOTE:if u use your Sn to be 46, i.e Sn=46

Although I haven't downloaded the practice questions, from the comments here there must be something wrong with the practice question on maths. Unilag has started it again just like last year most of the practice questions on the part 2 of maths were wrong hope others are very correct? Hmmmm. . .
