Why are you paying what you are not supplied if I may ask. I know nepa estimate your monthly bill if they can't read it monthly, but they reconcile it periodically by taking the meter reading and correcting the estimate. check your last meter reading as recorded on your current bill and compare it to the current reading on your meter, if there is much difference between the two then bring it to nepa's notice. they should be able to sort it out. you are not supposed to pay for energy not used. but it is not really economical to read all the meters in Nigeria once every month. so the trade off is to use estimation and correct the estimate periodical. You can also go for prepaid meter, depending on where you are. |
