Why do the international media portray the goods and bads of India, Brazil and China? Those countries are very poor but they show both parts of those. They show the Tahj Mahal, the skyscrapers in Shanghai, the Beauty of Brazil but never of Africa. Also history too, slavery/colonization is less than 10% of African history but they focus so much on it. Why not talk about the positive African history like Sungbo Eredo or Monotopia, or Ancient Egypt, Benin, Songhai, Mali, etc. They do this for a reason. TO make you hate yourself and make everyone look down on you. The world elite HATE black people. 2 Likes |

And they hate (or more accurately, fear and wish to suppress) black people because they know the history of ancient black global dominance, even if most modern blacks haven't a clue. |

To add to the discussion, let's not also forget how stupid and useless our media is. When our radio stations only want to talk on entertainment and local politics, without ever trying to raise the issue of socio-economic development. In this modern era we should not be so much concerned with how the international media sees Africa, but how African see themselves. AIT is the clearest channel among Nigeria's local stations, but try to watch a news bulletin one evening and you'll shed tears about how poor they reports and news stories are. |
