Considering a man or woman (employed, self-employed or business man) and all his/her earnings, salary, allowances, investments, possessions and inheritance, who can be truly categorized as a millionaire? 1. A person with total possessions that worth a million naira or more? 2. A person with total possessions that worth a million dollar or more? 3. A person with gross monthly earnings of a million naira or dollar? 4. A person with total monthly earnings (after tax) of a million naira or dollar? 5. A person who has ever saved total money equal to or more than a million naira or dollar? 6. A person who consistently has a million naira or dollar left after his normal life spending. Who can be called a millionaire? Must it be in dollar or can it be in Naira? |

that means most of the owners of the big houses in lagos or abuja may not necessarily be millionaires as many of them cost around 100 million naira more or less, which is still not up to a million dollar, euro or pounds standard. invariably we may actually have few millionaires in nigeria. who then can we refer to as a rich man or woman? must the person be a millionaire by standard first? |

A person whose household income is $200,000 (the husband could earn the whole amount or his income + his wife's income) or whose net worth is $1M dollar is rich, actually we have many millonaire by such standards in lagos eg some people have 3-4 houses worth up to 250M naira which is more than $1M, but sure there are few millionaires even in America they are few |
