Saying the Niger-Delta will fight for GEJ is a very funny story. So GEJ being in power for 8 years will compensate for the decades of deprivation of the ND right? Since when did the Niger-Delta become one large homogenous group where an Anioma or Itsekiri man feels compelled to defend the "right to loot" of an Ijaw man? Until we get it into our heads that our political elite, the governments at the centre and we as Niger-Deltans have failed, nothing will change. Its easy enough to blame the North, S.W & S.E for the woes of the Niger-Delta but none of these people had a hand in our choice of traditional rulers, senators, governors and political elite who have sworn to live large even if the rest of us die. Will you blame the other ethnic groups for the knavery and mindless looting of Ibori, Uduaghan, Odili, Igbinedion, Alams, Sylva, GEJ, Attah et al. When the genuine agaitation by people like Saro-Wiwa and co was hijacked by animals like Tompolo, Alaibe, Asari, Ateke Tom & co, did we not "siddon look" as usual? If GEJ likes, let him stay till 2050, his reign as governor of Bayelsa was an unmitigated disaster so why should this be any different?
