Just fresh out of the yelutide season, the price of Nigerians number one staple food jumped from N4,700 to N6,800 /N7,000 a bag. This increase can be traced to dwindling supplly in the GARRI market. the 4 litre "paint" can (standard measurement in the garri pallance) followed suite, increasing from N400 to N500 / N600 depending on location.  |
