Gladys is by far the more experienced battler....anything less than what she gave would have been disappointing. I have no problem believing she scripted that. She's creative. ...from her former arms akimbo line....just needed a fine tuning and she did that. Once one learns to structure properly, d improvement seems too quick.

I wrote every single bar, rhyme, wordplay, etc., no matter how they crappy might be, by myself. There's nothing too hard in textceeing if one has the passion, perseverance, intelligence and a broader spectrum of topics. Take for a example this my written on FFR..

I came about the 'Algerian marabouts' thingy on NL few weeks ago when a national daily reported that Buhari hasn't moved into Aso Rock because some 'Algerian Marabouts' were cleansing the Villa of GEJ's impunity. Curious to know what Marabouts is since I'm not a Muslim and don't know the terminology, i Googled the name and it got stuck in my brain ever since. So i just remembered it, used it as my punchline and built the entire set-up around it. Same goes for the 'your favourite muscians rapped about' line in my
drop. I got the idea from Phyno's Yayo, where he sang..

"My mother told me never to stop hustling 'till I'm the rapper other rappers rap about' "..

If i have the passion for this art, i know i'll win someone one day. I just don't have the zeal yet.

The "tie" is a pun - to draw someone, or to seize someone's progress, especially using jazz.

The only p is that you should have said something about that BRAWL in the set up, so that the readers will know that the "tie" is a pun.
