N'Delta Elders Wont Support Jonathan In 2015 If He Fails To Improve The Region by Nobody: 10:38am On Jan 10, 2013
Ahead of the 2015 general elections, Niger Delta Elders’ Forum have said that President Goodluck Jonathan many not get their support if he fails to develop the area. The elders have affirmed that Jonathan would lose massively in the region if he refused to work towards addressing the developmental challenges in the oil rich region. In a communique by its Chairman, Etubong Duke, and Secretary, Mr. Nelson Baribote, the forum noted that the South-South geopolitical zone has been faced with more socio-economic hardship even before Jonathan’s regime. While regretting that though it showed confidence in the ability of Presidentonathan who happens to be their own son to deliver on his election promises, it was beginning to wonder whetheronathan was aware of the problems facing the region. The forum said, “We have seen that the president and his ministers are more interested in the 2015 agenda than the welfare of the people. “We wish to state, however, that this time around, Niger Deltans will not be fooled to vote for Jonathan unless he takes practical steps to address our developmental challenges in the region without prejudice to other areas.”

The earlier they realize that the retardeen is much more loyal to his killer members than his impoverished people the better. even when he was governor (closer to them), what did he achieved?

You could not have said it better. People need to understand that it does not matter where the president is from, so long as he is a status quo candidate. Instead of performing on the job and leaving their fate to the electorate, they prefer to share patronage and hope the godfathers deliver next election to them.

How does a TA Orji presidency help igbos, or an Uduaghan presidency help delta state?

yet when they tell their sons to go back to the creeks and close the oil wells, the whole nation will start panicking.
Isn't it shameful that a region with a population of 'just 2 local govts' generates 90% of Nigeria's foreign revenues?
Bloody condescending foool.

Don't mind all those hungry, useless and expired scallywags. When GEJ used money to slap their mouths in 2011 and they were hollering "our son", why didn't they demand development then? Now that the old dingbat called Edwin Clark and dogs like Orubebe have cornered all the goodies for themselves, they are now crying like deflowered toddlers. What did GEJ do as governor of Bayelsa that made them support him in the first place?
