BAD NEWS

The Microfire 3.2 rom is for Macromax A110. unfortunately this phone in question does not share same hardware specs with N7, so it is kind of impossible to port this rom for N7. Their screen resolutions and camera are different.

GOOD NEWS

However Macromax A92 and Lava Iris 501 shares same hardware and software specs with the Tecno N7. So all we need to do is get our hands on their stock jb rom or any custom rom meant for them. xda should be able to help!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: I am already downloading roms based on jelly bean for Lava Iris 501. hopefully i will port dem for the N7

It is not entirely possible for u to use up the entire 785mb because u have an option to move all installed apps to SD card. Not all the files of the apps will be moved doh, but at least it will help to free some space on the phone app memory (785mb).

Alternatively get an app called apps2sd from googleplay. it will make d process of moving apps to sd card easier for you.

As for your playstore not able to download, get version 4.3.11 of playstore. This version is stable with no bugs cos my stock playstore use to misbehave as well.

i'll advice you guys to wait until there's am OTA method of upgrading to jb on tecno N7. Or tecno officailly creates jb rom 4 n7. Dont be desperate 4 jb, at lease android hasnt stoped surport yet 4 ics. Anythin jb can do, ics can do also... Major diffrence is the homescreen and camera app.

Even dat fone way ona say get same specs with n7, it may nt be 100 percent same specs.

As 4 me, i go wait till ics get major dissadvantage, or learn how to create custom rom by my self, so it'll be my taste.

I believe this will save some work. Since that busybody mentioned it I will work on how to build OTA updater and swap apks and let you have them by tomorrow by His grace.

Just go back one page and you will find your answer. If you cannot get that google recovery for Lava Iris 501.There are two cwm and two Twrp. You can use either the SP Flash Tools or Mobile Uncle. You will need a computer and installation of Adb drivers to flash with SP Tools. With Mobile Uncle, you don't need a computer, just run the apk and open the dashboard select RECOVERY UPGRADE. You should have pasted the recovery image at the root of your device's SD card, that is not inside any folder. Mobile Uncle will scan and locate the recovery image. Then it installs the recovery. By pressing the power button and tapping the Volume up button at the same time, the device goes into recovery. You navigate up and down with the volume buttons and confirm with the power button. Move or copy your backup to the SD card and use it to restore.

Use MT Droid Tools. Once it it is connected, you click on create scatter. It will be done. Is your phone rooted? You cannot use Mobile Uncle with an unrooted phone. You cannot also get a permanent cwm on a stock ROM. (The battery on my Laptop is flat, so I am writing offhead)

somebody should help me. My Tecno N7 had been misbehaving since I bought it. It formats automatically. I can't use my apps for more than ones and they will all wipe out. What could be happening?

only 483 MB of RAM is available to N7 users. Therefore, if you have many applications installed, the phone will always run out of memory.Install Memory Booster and the like to manage it.
