dear tsharp, thanks for enlightening my buyers and also reminding me of my earlier posts. i will take my time to respond to you, not because im desperate to sell, but because i think you are matured enough by your presentation.

about 80% of cars sold everyday in nigeria have their check engine light (CEL) on. unfortunately, only about 20% of buyers bother to scan and find out what is wrong with their cars.

my car was among the unlucky 80% of cars bought wit CEL on, luckily, i care about my car.

so, i bought a car with CEL on. big deal? i took it for scanning, came on nairaland to ask for solutions, and i got one. i changed the oil pressure switch at Honda Place at Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja after which the CEL cleared itself, this also solved the issue of excessive fuel consumption.

secondly, i came back online to complain about engine vibration. solution was found by changing three out of four engine seats. big deal?

thirdly, i complained about difficulty in engaging gears. turned out problem was a weak gear selector cable. i changed the cable and problem is solved. big deal?

is it nw a crime to ask for solutions on an online forum? i ask questions so i dont make mistakes. i have helped alot of car owners wit similar issues.

u can only accuse of worrying too much about my car, yes, my friends say that all d time. with hindsight, i should have come back to nairaland to announce that the issues have been resolved.

i dont wanna push matters here please. i made these complaints since April 2011. y havnt i advertised the car for sale sinc then? i have enjoyed my car ever sinc i put it straight.

i will sell my car to a very lucky buyer. i say lucky because i knw hw much i pamper my car.

i hope i have set d records straight. once again, i beg you not to derail my thread.
