zezeny: I'm happy 4 d new development about u guyz' admission into UI. However, it is very important for u guyz to know dat d fact dat UI shortlisted all applicants with 200 nd above will make d admission more competitive. I implore u guyz to read well so as to score very high in post utme.
Take for instance last year, Law had d highest merit cut-off mark of 70. Then, applicants were shortlisted, so out of over 7000 applicants (first nd second choice) dat picked law in UI, only about 300 applicants were shortlisted write d post utme, nd yet d cut-off mark was still as high as 70. Same tin applied to oda courses. Now, imagine dis year wen all candidates with 200 nd above are shortlisted to write d post utme, dat means higher number of applicants will be writing for each course dis year. Take law for instance, unlike 300+ applicants dat sat for its post utme last year, candidates sitting for law post utme dis year may be up to 5000+ (not d accurate figure tho).
With regards to d above however, it is a known fact however, dat d cut-off marks for each course dis year may be very high. Therefore, I implore u guyz to read very hard, nd aim for nothing lesser dan 70 especially for courses like Law, Medicine and Economics. because, let's not be deceived, it might be very unrealistic for anybody dat scores below 70 to get any of dese courses mentioned above dis year.
Well, now dat u av dis info wif u, I guess each of u shud by now know wot u are aiming for to get ur desired courses. Now, get up, buckle up ur shoes nd go for it.
