Ui wants to release d list of doz 1st choice wu made d dept cut off and doz wu changed cox,at once. So d 2nd list wud b 4 2nd choice. But if u chose a cox dat is nt among d 'change of course' courses, ur chance wil depend on doz wu wil nt accept their adm 4rm d 1st list. Now,if ur course is one of doz courses available 4 change of course,pray d 1st choice dudes dont occupy dem. If dey do,prepare 4 anoda cox,because ui wana do every tin to get all 1st choice in. I dont tink there wud b a 3rd list.

UTME and score above 50 in the Sept. 28th
UI Post UTME may have to wait for some
time to know whether or not they will be
considered for admission into Nigerian
Premier University, the University of Ibadan.
Information available to campus times reveals
that while staff at the institution’s admission
office were already at an advance stage in
collating the names of successful First choice
candidates in the institution’s Post UTME
organised on Sept. 28, no attention is
currently being paid to candidates who made
the institution their second choice and scored
above 50 in the same examination, despite
NUC’s end of October deadline for the
conclusion of admission process for the
2013/14 academic session.
A staff at the admission office informed our
correspondent that “for now, it is not clear if
the second choice candidates will be
considers as we have not got directive to
start processing the second choice applicants
for admission.” A source close to Prof. Ajav,
the chairman of the committee in charge of
the admission process informed campus times
that as of Tuesday (22/10/2013) the
university had only got the list of first choice
candidates from JAMB and had been working
based on the list, “if the list of second choice
candidates comes in from JAMB before the
end of the NUC admission deadline, we shall
work on it, as of now, we do not have it” the
source said.
The university of Ibadan had on Friday
(18/10/2013) released the departmental cut
off marks and list of departments available
for a change of course for candidates who
made the institution their most preferred
first institution, without making any official
statement as to the fate of candidates who
made the institution their second choice
though all the applicants wrote the Post
UTME on the same day. This has raised
concern in different quarters because of the
deadline issued by the regulatory agency for
the conclusion of the admission process this
year.

When I gained admission into secondary school,we the commercial student were nt allowed to offer d sudject in questn.
During Jamb I was bemused when I discovered that the same geography we were nt allowed to do in secondary skul could be used as replica to Government!
This is really confusing because in elementary stage(waec),geography is said to be replica of further-mathematics(out of the 7-9 sudject)

My brotherly advise for you is to look the faculty geography as a sudject fit into in UI
If it falls in faculty of social science,then it's a commercial sudject and vice versa!

jossy didnt say everyone... Wat he personally told me on 2go was dat ol 1st choice are qualified yl d 2nd choice ll b shortlistd... Even doze dat were nt shortlistd turned up 4 d exam nd dey were given a hall nd allowed to write dia xam..
