If u rily luv d sch, u wuld av pikd d sch 4 first choice n pik anoda sch 4 an alternative, but then since u're an indigene, i think u av beta chances, provided u av gud scores, at least d score shuld b above cutoff 4 beta chances, connectn is nt necesary, i knw of pple who dnt av conection n pickd dem as 2nd choice, but didnt meet d cutoff, n they were admited, but they were nt given d course they applied 4, Just meet d cut off 1st n Pray 2 God. Though connectn may boost ur chances, but most conectns are fake.

You have a good chance ! just last year I was also on this forum. I chose unilorin as my first and second choice. Ma course is political science. I got 236 in jamb and 72 in post jamb. By Gods grace I was one of those first set of students who saw the congratulation of been admitted to the prestigeous university of ilorin on jamb website.
There are three factors which led to my success :
1. Prayer: if u av not being praying,pls, cultivate the herbit. cos everything depend on God.
2.Hard work : study very hard, be current with local and international affairs. Do not rely on miracle centers,if u do and u are eventually admitted,it is a sure bet that u will be expelled withing ur first year on campus. Cos its likely u will not meet up with the 1.5 crossing hurdle from 100level to 200level. And if also u luckily cross, u will do that with a lot of carry overs, and this will affect ur personality on campus and also affect the result u will graduate with.
whether u gain admission or not, whether u graduate with a good result or not, it all depend on how hard u av worked during jamb. Those who have ear let them hear.
3. Connection : although am an indigen with a little connection, nonetheless, connection is a variable factor. Whether or not u are connected, with God everything is possible.
There are some tactics and websites that helped me during my time. All dis I shall communicate to u as time goes on, I promised. Cee u all on better by far campus in october !

jamb and post jamb questions are very different. Unlike jamb that base questions on ur subject combination, unilorin post utme questions comprises of 60% english 10% maths and 30% current affairs and I Q tests.
Dont worry, by Gods grace, I shall share some website which will be of help to u during ur post utme and some important questions that I memorised during our time.
just continu to prepare for jamb. Best of luck !

Hmmmmmm, medicine is a very competitive course in unilorin. But it is easy if u are ready to work and pray. if u score 250 nd above in jamb, 80 and above in postume after which u begging to pray. U are gud to go

Guys just checking dis log again remind me of last year, saying it again now, unilorin admission is luck and who u know, in as much u score 200 and above xcept for medicine and Engr where u need 240 and 220 above, u av equal rite, and for 0-level, as far as u av the 5 required cos, either A1 or C6, its the same, just make sure u av the correct subject combination, cos some will Even be move after admission cos of subject combination, make sure u get 220 and pass ur post utme,
I'm a Geology student and choose unilorin as 2nd choice, with 257 and 66 in pu, and many that choose them as 1st are not consider, its by God and how u press ur button b4 the the list. He who av ear sud hear, so no regret after, wish u all best of luck and hoping to see u in better by far(beta by stress)
