pls my oga dis guy's carreer is at stake dont mislead him.my 2 friends chose commerce and a lecturer advice them not to even come 4 pume because oau wil not accept commerce.2yr ago a guy here goin 4 acct did commerce scord 29+,was he admitted? No Y because of commerce though he was admitted last yr cos he pik govt or acct instead of commerce in short chek d brochure its written clearly dere

.Is it possible 4 OAU to gv me philosophy, if i dnt meet up wit Law cut off mark coz base on last yr cut off mark 4 law whch was 279 and 4 me to bypass dat score wit mai 208 jamb score i gat to aim up to 350+ to stand a chance 4 law, wat if i culd nt meet up to 350, 4 example let assume i score 330 in pume additn to mai 208 dats 269 and d cutoff is 270, wuld oau gv me dat law or wat Nid sum1 wit much experience to shed lite on dis....thanks...

please oh! i filled medicine and dentistry for 1st and second choice respectively and chose oau as 1st and 2nd.. got 221 in jamb and am doing the pre degree had 69.4 which is low for medicine. am changing my p.d course to pharmacy hope the medicine in my jamb wont affect??

pume....[/quote] how many people did cbt? 15000+ huh?? check this out: oau medicine cut off for 2011 was 295 for 2012 was 265 what happend?? cut off depend on percentage pass per combination...!!

based on the experience I has last year, having an aggregate of 240 just 10 marks behind the 250(osun state catchment) I was not offered anything. so my advice to you will be just to change the course to a lower one before it will be too late

Maybe the course they chose ain't competitive

You guys should strive hard to meet up with your course cut-off mark by doing very well in your post-ume. That's the only way your admission into OAU can be guaranteed. If your score is 1mark less than the merit cut-off or your catchment area cut-off mark, your chances of getting admitted ain't certain. That's when you bring in the 'WHO YOU KNOW FORMULA'.
There are just two set of people you can know.
(1) Baba GOD
(2) Lecturers , professors, HoDs , Deans etc.

. Fynest...OAU may not in fact give you anything unless God help you gan or you know someone... Why don't you change your course, so that you will stand a good chance. The last jamb i wrote, it remained two marks for me to reach medicine, imagine they didn't even give me biology education. Learn from me
