Animals come in many forms, sizes and shapes and are usually grouped together in the wild for different reasons. They may work together as a team to gather food effectively and efficiently, for protection, grooming, raising of their young, for migration and to play etc. Let's look at what animals in group are called and feel free to add what u know. Here we go... A shrewdness of apes A parliament of owls A colony, parcel or huddle of penguins A troop of baboons A culture of bacteria A sounder of boars A clowder of cats A quiver of cobras An intrusion of cockroaches A litter of cubs A murder of crows A float of crocodiles A leash of greyhounds A tribe of goats A harras of horses A troop or mob of kangaroos A plague of locusts A company of parrots A swift or ambush of tigers A lamentation of swans An unkindness of ravens A cast of hawks I particularly like what a group of owls is called "a parliament of owls" 2 Likes |
