Chime Discharged from Wellington Hospital 25 Jan 2013 Font Size: a / A Governor Sullivan Chime Agha Ibiam Indication emerged Wednesday that Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State may have been discharged from Wellington Hospital at St. John’s Wood, North West London, where he had an endoscopy operation. This is coming barely four days after Chime’s colleagues-Governors Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Gabriel Suswam (Benue) and Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom) paid him a visit in London. Endoscopy, according to experts, is a situation where a health care provider may use endoscopy to investigate symptoms in the digestive system including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing and gastrointestinal bleeding. A reliable source stated that the situation is also used to confirm cancers of the digestive system, if it was noted. However, the source could not ascertain how long the operation lasted on Wednesday at Wellington, but it was reliably gathered that the governor came in to the Ward on Wednesday for a procedure and was later discharged. “He attended the Day Unity at the hospital and has been discharged; therefore he is no longer under the care of the endoscopy Unit any longer,” the source said. The governor had been on admission at the hospital since last quarter of last year when he was first admitted till late November when he was discharged. According to the source, Wednesday’s visit was to ensure he has completed his routine check with specialists at the hospital. The governor on Monday attended 9, Harley Street Clinic, where he met with Professor Paul O’Flynn, a specialist on ear, nose and throat (ENT). It was also gathered that before Wednesday’s operation at the Endoscopy Unit, Chime had visited the hospital once in the last two weeks and had four appointments with O’Flynn since the beginning of this month. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/chime-discharged-from-wellington-hospital/137403/ Now I think ds is a gudd one for d governor nd people of enugu state. It is a shame that these murderfuckers waste the tax payers monies to treat themselves in functional societies while hundreds of infants die needlessly everyday because of their callous misappropriation of the people's funds. 8 Likes |

Am I missing something here? Endoscopy no be operation na It's just a means of diagnosing ailments, kind of like a biopsy. The governor has been out of the country this long to do an endoscopy? This country sef. And people will keep saying they went to school. 7 Likes |

In a sane country where the rule of law is allowed to prevail, this governor should have been impeached. Imagine a governor leaving his state for over four months without disclosing the true reason for his absence or handing over properly to his deputy, effectively leaving the state in limbo. What kind of country is it, where a government can tell such barefaced lies to its people? His aides swore that the governor was leaving for an accumulated vacation. How can human beings tell such lies and expect to retain their credibility? Good to know he's recovering. However this does not excuse the fact that all his aides should be fired for lying to Nigerians. 6 Likes |

executinal: Those that wished him death is totally dissapointed. The truth is that no one wished him dead it's just that no explanation was given people became worried. If he is cured now good he should try to bring facilities like that to his state so that those that cannot afford $ or £ should be able to scout around and cough out Naira. 1 Like |
