COMPANY PROFILE GreenPower Overseas Ltd, is a leading provider of Alternative Energy and Power Backup solutions in Nigeria. Their success is a testament to their persistent focus on product quality, customer satisfaction and after sales service. To meet the manpower requirements for their rapidly growing portfolio, They are recruiting for a Sales Executive. JOB DETAILS JOB TITLE: Sales Executive REF NO: HR/AC-0004 LOCATION: Ikeja, Lagos JOB STATEMENT The sales executive will be responsible for selling Green Power’s product portfolio directly to both existing as well as new customers. Primary responsibilities will include: prospecting, business development, developing proposals, forecasting, negotiating, driving responses to RFPs, customer product presentations, building reference accounts, and other sales and account management activities. This person will be accountable for delivering the assigned revenue and margin targets. A key requirement for success is the ability to work in a cross functional environment and represent the business throughout all levels internally and in to the market. KEY DELIVERABLES o Achieve sales goals including sales revenue/turnover and margin. o Develop, recommend and implement a comprehensive sales plan. o Build strong relationships with customers and partners. o Organize and lead customer appointments, qualify opportunities, manage proposals and formal customer presentations. o Generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products and services. o Initiating sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements. o Contributing information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts, identifying needs to be filled and developing new applications. o Closing sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts. o Support outside Sales Team and day-to-day sales operations o Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer service issues and complaints. o Provide forecast and plans information. o Prepare monthly reports. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS o An experienced professional with a proven track record of success in IT sales. o Full understanding of backup solutions industry practices, dynamics, and market trends. o 5 + years of related sales experience o Good analytical skills o Possess a good technical background in Electrical products and related sales experience. o A power backup account, sales experience will be an advantage. o Capable of traveling QUALIFICATIONS: o A Bachelor’s Degree or higher o Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. o Professional qualification will be an added advantage. o Experience developing and driving business opportunities with channel partners o Able to communicate at executive level. o An understanding of key business drivers for demand in the power backup solutions market. o Able to prioritize activities and business opportunities and to leverage other functions within the organization. o Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and must be a defensive driver. o Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
