In the meantime most of the people that graduated with me had already left the country because they felt that they were not being recognised and thought that they would stand a better chance elsewhere and in fact they almost certainly did.

So the NHS lost. They trained all these doctors and they emigrated to America and Canada where they are all in quite senior positions now. They left because of the racism that operates in our system.
