@OP,

You mean S. Keshi comes here to get advise? Unless that, if not, no amount of what is said here that will fall on their ears. Nigeria will still play that annoying and sluggish game. If they can push to draw sha, we see how it goes from there.

Imagine cote divoire Nigeria is scared of playing again. It shows how dead nigerians morals are and with dead morals,a team can't do much. Moral decadence eats into all the fabrics of society, including football.

Ada Nri1: I think they should play 4 5 1. With only Victor Moses upfront. The defenders should be warned sternly not to overlap because drogba and Toure are too dangerous to be given that chance
That would be very disastrous and catastrophic.

If Nigerians are terrified of the Ivoriens at this stage, then we don't need to be in that competition.I just hope the Ivoriens are equally terrified of the super eagles like we do. I want us to win only if we deserve it.Of what use will it be to us if we win through ojoro?

miiraaj: 1) Give CAF the remaining money left in our foreign reserve.

2)Two red cards for the Ivorians

3) Two offside goals . (Our boys can't even create that one)

4) Award 3 penalty kicks.

5) Illegally cancel any goal from Drogba, Kalou, and Gervinho

6) GEJ should call for National prayers and fasting.

7) Wish them luck.

bro don't be so sure that keshi doesn't use the internet. I read an article earlier today (lol it's morning already) on goal.com on '' 5 things super eagles must do against ethiopia '' and behold most of the points highlighted were surprising implemented e.g pairing emenike n uche. So you can't be so sure o.k

In your dream plus Ogude will not play against CIV
obo_man:

Well..... How do we win against Ivory Coast......

1... We have to take our chances in front of goal..... Uche and Musa aren't clinical enough, so I won't be starting neither....

2... Individual errors have to be kept to the barest minimum. Ivory Coast have players that will punish us if our defenders make avoidable mistakes.. ( 90 mins concentration is key for every team). We keep our passes simple... No fancy passes, no unnecessary dribbles.

3.... So far, our defence isn't really as bad as people think, I think why we've looked average in previous matches is because our middle men aren't showing enough creativity (intrinsic passes) for our strikers to latch unto.

4... Yaya Toure is the engine room of Ivory Coast. He is fast, skilful, can score goals and has pace... Ogunde Fegor needs to get really close to him without committing fouls. You wont want Yaya to have space to pass or run into... I trust daddy Fegor to deal with him as Daddy Fegor is stronger... If we can curtail Yaya, we will minimise Ivory Coast's threat.

5.... Our full backs have to provide enough width. They are not covering ground as they ought to. Gervihno is gonna be a threat, and if we mark him really well, we have a good chance of not conceding. We don't want Gerv to be getting crosses to Drogba, knowing our good Drogba is in the air.

6.... And finally, we play at a very slow tempo...... We need to start playing at a very fast tempo, especially in the final third. Keshi should instruct our strikers to be making intelligent runs, whilst keeping onside. if we gonna play 4-3-3, our forward wingers should swap positions, look for defensive gaps and jump into it. Our strikers are too static, and only run when the ball is already halfway in motion... This ought to stop...

With these six tips, we stand a chance.

I think one of the major problem we had in our opening matches(zambia) was rating musa above moses... Coz most of our balls were channelled towards him whereas the dude hasn't improved on his final balls.

so in the match against ivory coast he(moses) should be our main threat on the flanks, emenike should be the lone striker coz of his strenth too bad uche isn't well built.

Ejike, or ideye should assist on the flanks. fengor won't feature and that's a big blow to us.. He's been effective as a defensive midfielder doing the dirty job well.

I'll advise keshi to bench yobo, coz he still hasn't improved almost committed a blunder against ethiopia when introduced.

And i love the fight for shirt kind of approach. keshi has been able to show selections are based on performance e.g yobo(c) hitting the bench for awful display, nosa replaced by mba, musa gave way for Ike. Kudos to the boss

Thank you Op. Very 9ce topic! I would have preferred a 4-4-2 because of our defence, but I tgink 3-5-2 would do d magic, cos we need 2choke d mid-field if we really wanna break thru d ivorians, and our defenders need not overlap. Keshi n Amokachi should also come out once a while to talk 2d boiz. Yobo is a disaster, he should b benched for now! Victor moses n emenike in front! Lastly, our boiz should play like they are determined 2win. They should not relax n play sluggishly. They should hv dat synergy, d push, d zeal, d aggressiveness 2win!

Lets use our subsidy money to get Messi and Ronaldo before the transfer window finally closes or if it does not work, let's use part of our TV right money to appeal to CAF to allow us field 22 player (2 goal keepers in goal post).

Most important, SE should stop eating eba before going to the field of play. It affects their speed.

Look at the way Ethiopia nearly frustrated us, they brought in fine babes and how players started lusting over them, let us use the same strategy, and bring some of our Nollywood actresses e.g Tonto Dikeh, Ini Edo, Mercy Johnson, Omotola etc, make sure they were bumshorts.
That's one of the way we can stand a chance.

jokes apart.....i take God beg stephen keshi make e no use 4-3-3 dis tym around....if dem tok say na dat formation wey dem wan use,no doubt about it,d midfield go dey porous...wif d lyks of yaya toure in dat midfield,i go advice keshi make im use 4-4-2 so as to kip dat yaya guy at bay...if possible make im use 4-5-1.....
Secondly, dey hv 2 play lyk a team,it annoyz me when i see my darlin eagles playing as if dem get belle,no communication,no cohension......mehn! Keshi gat alot 2 do o....

they should apply the same strategy they applied against Argentina with Enyama sentencing YAYA'S shots to death. In all and all they should be bold and play good football we are known with........what do you think.

Super Eagles will beat Cote'Divoire if they follow the bellow steps:

(1) Contact TB Joshua, the earlier the better

(2) Keshi should insist with CAF that he want the Egyptian Ref again

(3) Leave only MUSA at the back and use the format as 6-3-2

(4) See Yaya Toure an Drogba as normal Flying Eagle Players

(5) Or Appeal to TB Joshua to use his magic blind Drogba and Yaya Toure

With the above format, Super Eagles will beat Cote D'ivoire

I would rather advice, we all expect the worse, and hope for the best; just to avoid the sudden occurrence/manifestation of hidden High Blood Pressure in the body!

That said, after all, its an 11/11 men game, which a winner and a loser will surely emerge.

This is where mikel should come in..grin

1. Don't commit too much players to attacking.

2. Mikel's to attempt using long passes to scale through CIV's defence.

3. Make sure omeruo starts, he's the only player that has not earned my insult. cheesy

4. Play as a team.

Andre Uweh: Okechukwu Keshi and Daniel Amokachi were part of the Super eagles team that beat Ivory Coast in 94 nations cup. They are handling the team now and should re-enact that performance stategy.
Though, I doubt it.

You may be right, but that was '94...
