For the first time in a very very long time, Nigeria is being regarded as the underdogs. This will be a big advantage for us if
1 - Ahmed Musa is sent home first thing tomorrow morning on Ethiopian airline via Adis Ababa.
2 - If keshi will learn to withdraw Fengor Ogude 10 minutes after collecting yellow card in second half.
3 - If Victor Moses starts from the left flank.
4 - If Ejike Uzoenyi starts from the right flank.

Next edition in Morocco, Nigeria should prepare to top their group so as not to go out at the quarters.

Okay.

We might not have played to our ultimate strengths in the group stages, but at this stage of the tournament, no team should be written off. We just might be in for a surprise smiley

He just might turn out to be our joker

3 - [s]If Victor Moses starts from the left flank.[/s]
It doesn't matter which flank he plays in. He is just as effective
4 - If Ejike Uzoenyi starts from the right flank.

Done!

Since 2008 Nigeria have been playing to their competition so this game will be closer than people expect. Rarely is Nigeria blown out or blows out an opponent.

Look at the 2010 World Cup for example and 2013 AFCON. Close matches vs all our opponents no matter their skill level.

Na wa o. Even if Ivory Coast loses by 10goals, they'll still be 1st. They can even afford to play their 2nd string and rest their main squad for the Nigerian match.

God please don't let the goals be plenty, minimize the goal margin so that we can be happy losers.

Some players have much better ability than they have shown so far.

Musa and Nosa haven't been great but they still have the potential to cause trouble for many teams. I am happy for Omeruo, he seems to be the natural successor to yobo in the heart of the defence. Oboabana has been decent as well.

The Ivorians are really not that scary, but Nigeria must take her chances and play on the break. Ahmed musa must up his game for this one. Emenike should be the top man. It should be a close game

I am also impressed with Mba but Nosa and Onazi will get the nod for me.

The Nigerian team is a work in progress, i hope they get past the ivorians because i do think good things will come from this team. I want Keshi to retain his job regardless of the outcome.

I think Mikel should play his chelsea role rather than creative role because our midfield needs to be tightened. Fengor Ogude should be benched because he may get straight red card because of his careless tackles. Nigeria can pull a win if they are determined.

So unnecessary of you to say! Just tell me how are the Ivoirens better than our players? You think names win matches? If so, either Argentina or England would have won the last world cup. Any team can win my brother. This is football not wrestling. What the team needs is a game plan that is tied to discipline.
