What is the "Other Religions'" position on capital punishment?  And what crimes/offenses are punishable with the capital punishment?

But in Is"lam, if the sharia is practiced, properly, there should be a proper judicial process. What is so interesting is this, even it there is an overwhelming evidence against the accuser, but if the accuser were to invoke the curse of God on himself if he lies about his innicence, he should be allowed to go free for the matter to be between he and God alone. Only God can settle all affairs, truly!
