DUTSE — Four officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Jigawa State were beaten to stupor by kerosene black marketers and fuel attendants at the Dutse NNPC mega-station while their official vehicle was smashed. According to investigations, men of the NSCDC went to the station where they discovered improprieties in the sale of kerosine which made them to direct the attendants to adhere to the arrangement that would enable other people to procure the commodity. This, according to our sources, led to a disagreement with the attendants and black marketers against the security personnel and beat three of them while the fourth received knife cuts. Efforts to contact the state Commandant of the NSCDC, however, proved abortive as he was not on seat while his phone was unreachable However, one of the senior officials of the corps who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed that four of their personnel brutalized at the mega station are currently receiving treatment in a hospital in Dutse. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/02/kerosene-black-marketers-lynch-nscdc-officials/ SOURCE http://www.emmanuelbabatunde.com/2013/02/kerosene-black-marketers-lynch-nscdc.html

This doesnt seem right. Nigerians are no fools, and are not animals...well, i dont know about the people at Dutse But, this story seems wrong. And all these people on queues are not black-marketers.... Blackmarket is an illegal place of trade...these are the normal people who sell in bottles to those who cant go to the filling stations, or who dont like qeueuing....Vanguard is such a rag Get inspired, visit www.inspired.com.ng for your daily inspirational dose! |

My first question is ; why the f.u...ck are the NSCDC not armed with assault rifles? At least the would have fired warning shots to scare the lynchers. And 2 where the f..u.c|< was their area commander to take prompt action as a deterent against future reoccurence? May them thank God say no be [JTF] them lynch! By now heads for role! State of emergency declaration tins on ihejirika mind for the bubble! |

This story does not add up, if you know mega stations. Kerosine is normally sold by the side of the filling station where people queue . Now most uniform personnel most specially police and NSCDC will come and shunt and buy more than any other person then sell at black market rate while oppressing and intimidating both attendant and buyers. Obviously this Dutse people refused to be oppressed or. The officers were over greedy which led to their lynching. |

ichommy: What kind of beer parlor reporting is this? They only heard from one anonymous source, and took it as fact! the filling station is still there, people work around the filling station, what stops them from asking these potential eyewitnesses? |

HAH: [/url]. Are u sure dat u knw d meaning of ignorance? Is dis report we are digesting about consumers or black marketers? Selling of fuel(kerosine)in bottles and jerrycans started during the reign of Sani Abacha during the 1994\95 scarcity. The police and army were busy arresting the so called jerrycan\bottles fuel dealers(black marketers). Ask ur mum for briefing if u were not born then |
