gerald2: My $2000 was lost in that Liberty Reserve run, now I use webmoney cos they are reliable.

That's quite a sum. Pray they're back up soon. Why didn't you go the wire transfer route?

Personally, the thought of having to "find a buyer" for large sums on these e-currencies makes me stay away.

I have two accounts with Hotforex, one is funded through wire transfer and the other Liberty Reserve. The account with liberty reserve is what I use for my daily living expenses because it takes like 2 hours for me to get the fund in my LR account when I make withdrawal. Talking about selling the E-currency I have personal exchanger that buys it from me even if it's up to $20,000. This liberty reserve shutdown is really affecting me seriously because I took it like a savings account, thank God for Hotforex that gave other options for withdrawals.

I use alpari UK and Forextime(formerly alpari.)
For alpari UK, minimum deposit is $200 for micro acct, $500 for classic acct; I use bankwire via my dom acct.
For forextime, I use local bank transfer in naira, and so far, no issues with my fund. Am in the process of opening a new acct with XEmarkets, but still waiting till june 2 fund it, however, their customer care wan finish me with fone call just because they want ma ego.
so do ur own research n stick with 1 or 2 brokers that are popular just like Piponomic advised.

Igwe OO:

Wetin u talk na confirm but the issue with US broker na say, leverage is always pegged at 1:50. I think the best na to use brokers from UK. Leverage is ok with UK brokers. Australia too, after US, they the strictest regulation for brokers. Switzerland, brokers there operate as bank. Hence they charge commission on your trade rather then gaining from spreads.

You forgot to add that trades are first in first out in US (FIFO)

XHTML: SellStop 93.00 placed on Oil.

Closed at 92.76 with a measly 24 pips.

Hmm, Trying to blend a modified heiken ashi smoothed indicator into an existing strategy. Working on it at the moment.

My sell position (1418.02) on gold still running. Trailing stops in place.

Re: Forex Trading - Season 13 by XHTML: 1:58pm On May 31, 2013
My other trade from two days ago followed a similar setup - 3500+ pips.

- MACD Bullish crossover.

- Buy order opened at second heiken ashi candle

- SL placed below support and moved consecutively to new support regions.

I'm still working on this, anyways.

Of course, I also used this on currencies too. And results are well, coming up nicely. I need to plug in a few things and work on the system. This is still on the drawing board.

AUDCAD and AUD/USD turned up good results. Too many charts to post. The page might get clogged.

Closed my first position above at 1390.524. Momentum slowed and the bears seemed to have lost steam.

2,202.1 pips.

Meanwhile, on the Heiken Ashi candle setup I'm still moving the SL consecutively. Let's see how it goes.

USD/JPY is going down strongly, so we're going to see some bullish moves on Gold. If price reaches 1394.91 on gold, best to exit at that point and watch for another entry opportunity.

You're in line. If price gets to 1394.91, you may exit. if not, well keep holding the trade (IMO).

I'm watching the RSI divergence on both Gold and USD/JPY.

Yeah, Strong Support at the 1389 region. Around 1396.xx is where I'm looking to spot a Buy opportunity.

But I'm buying only after the SL is hit on the heiken ashi setup trade (currently 1397.33).
