~Bluetooth:that's what you want to belive, no matter how good you think these developing countries are, there is still a edge the west has. Iran shot down a u.s drone and were so elated they displayed it to the world and the u.s did'nt lift a finger because they know in a billion years those iranian scientist cannot encrypt a single code or reproduce that drone, and truely they've not been able to. |

South Korea alone is capable of levelling North Korea ecnomy and millitary. They can't handle the attention they're courting. |

Serious countries are trying to overcome that edge, and in 10yrs time, the balance of power will change. |

Most of the materials needed will have to be developed locally instead of buying from the international market because of these sanctions. Get you facts right. |

Nuclear Weapon isnt the deadliest weapon this moment, I think UN should watch Russia, cos the deadliest EM weapons are being tested. |

America's technological edge was triggered by immigrant europeans, especially germans, who were fleeing from europe. |

North Korea has approx 1.02 million troops. South Korea has 650,000 troops. My favorite stat, though, is the defense budget — South Korea’s defense budget in 2008 was 26.64 trillion won, nearly 390 times North Korea’s 2008 defense budget of 68.47 billion won.The Seoul-based Korea Economic Research Institute said in a report that in 2011 North Korea operated a 1.02-million-strong army and a record number of tanks, warships and air defense artillery. Total military personnel strength is 1.2 million (Including reserves). "The depressing reality is it would not be entirely wrong to say North Korea's military strength is stronger," "We need to remember that the North is far superior in terms of the number of troops, and especially the North's military is structured in its formation and deployment with the purpose of an offensive war." South Korea's armed forces number nearly 700,000 (Including reserves), and they are backed by about 28,000 US troops. But analysts say that even though the North's army far outnumbers the combined South Korean and US troop levels, the North's forces would stand no chance of winning a war because their equipment was vastly inferior (Refer to defence budget to know how inferior). |

North Korea may have the advantage in military personel due to numbers but the South Korean airforce will bomb them into submission. With more sophisticated planes,Tanks and Warships, North Korea's weapons will be easy pickings. They know this and that's why they're accelerating their Nuclear program as a form of intimidation. They still haven't gotten the technology to mount Nuclear warheads on missles. Nuclear detonation is what they have acheived so far but they possess enough Plutonium for 8 warheads. Do you know how many America has?? Its a no contest. |

Billyonaire: Nuclear Weapon isnt the deadliest weapon this moment, I think UN should watch Russia, cos the deadliest EM weapons are being tested. No country can rival the U.S Military. China has realized this so if they are to wage a war on the U.S, Its likely to be cyber or economic. Its a lot cheaper to carry out and an effective way to bring the U.S to its knees..... |

solomon111: who told you america's military/scientific devt was created by americans? The native Indians are the original Americans. Everyone else came from Europe. America is a country of immigrants. America was the first country in the world to witness an Industrial Revolution (Am i right?) Which happened long before World War 1. And this was spurred by technological advancement. America was already building cities with skyscrapers, industries, Automobiles etc long b4 the World Wars caused an increase in migrants from Europe. Yes, immigrant scientists cemented the U.S military's technological might but the U.S were never push overs in the first place. |

US was able to put Armstrong on the moon because they took in ex-nazi scientists like Braun. Talk of principles |

miiraaj: Wrong. There is one reason and one reason only that the US hasn't taken out the North Korean regime to date, and that is simply because China is a strong Allie, dear I say.. Overlord of North Korea, and an actual physical altercation with NK will certainly lead to such with China unless the altercation was initiated by the NK themselves. So until NK actually activates a live war, the US will not handle NK. China on the other hand is becoming more and more sick and tired of babysitting that nation, and really wants out of their relationship with them, but they feel as though they cant afford to do so, because once they do relinquish their alliance, the US will wast no time in taking out their regime and reuniting the two Korea's as an Allie of the US. This will put put the might of the US military right on the Chinese boarder, something in which they obvious don't want to happen. |
