What is the best car to ship to Nigeria

biafranqueen: We want to import 2 cars into Nigeria for the first time. We live in the states and have not been home since 2010. This will be our first time shipping a car and he will leave his job and the family for 3 weeks to clear it in 9ja. I ran across this forum and I know how our people can really give good advise. The cars we are looking at our Toyota's and Hondas we were thinking Element 2007 and Toyota RAV4 2008. If you know of any better brands feel free to share Thank you for your time and comments.

Consider adding a mercedez benz to d list. Your choice of toyota is a hotcake but not honda. An accord or a CRV would have sealed it for the honda.

The Benz is noted but my husband is set on Japanese brand Nattyman thanks fr the number..Also any good ideas on fast selling items like children clothes that we can pack in the car maybe diapers or other baby items I saw another thread about children items being the hottest selling bulk items!

Honda pilot and CRV is another very good buy for quick sale(Both cars are wanted, though more on the pilot side). For baby stuff, baby clothing(wear,socks,footwear,cardigan,soft towel and diapers) should command a very good market too. Some toy items too won't be bad, parents still buy toys.

Toys our getting big in 9ja is it ? Does every one have the video consoles like xbox DS etc or is it more like stuffed animals, dolls etc am sure China is flooding market by now

Yes china is flooding the market, though not like the console market of xbox and sony PS. Kids play more with electronic toys this days, and china has got a gud grip of it.that is d dolls and teddies. So cost of purchase and import from other countries might be on the high side and overbearing.
