Papilo87:

No 4. Hackers & Programmers
The demand for programmers well versed in Javascript, PHP, Java and JQuery is on the increase and we predict a more lucrative atmosphere for highly skilled ethical hackers and programmers. Ethical Hackers are rarer to find in Nigeria and the situation will not likely improve much in 2013. Ethical Hackers work to improve cyber security, prevent security breaches and maintain security of web and online platforms

Salary range: N2.8 – N6.48 million

Kai...oyibo self. Ethical hacker? Hacker na hacker now.

Anyway, I'm interested in the bolded above.

The fact is, how many people in the entire population of Nigeria earn these figures? Not even up to 3% of the entire population. These listed organizations rarely employ, even when they do, they just take very few.

Entrepreneurship...
Put system to work for you like Dangote and Adenuga.
Venture into a career/business that brings daily income is better than calculating your income annually.
I know of a small manufacturing company that generates a net income of 2.5mill every month after tax and salaries....
What do you think?

I'm currently in my final year of university, studying Accounting and finance. I have about four months left to finish my degree. My original plan was that when I finish my degrees I'd relocate to Nigeria, but after much research I'm thinking about doing my Masters in a Russell Group university then NYSC. oh btw I'm based in the uk, I'll like to get a very good job in Nigeria but I just don't know how to go about it, yes I have connections but I do not want to rely on ANYONE. Pls give me your advise. And I can't decide on where to do my nysc either Lagos or Abuja bare in mind I'd like to do my nysc where I can get a good job. Ohh also does anymore know about this careers in Africa.?
