.

The Election Program will look very much as outlined below. A little adjustment may be made as exigency dictates.

- Nominations will run through the weekend.
- Acceptance, campaign, manifestos, debates, screening, electoral appeals, etc will will take center stage on from Monday
- On Tuesday three candidate with the highest number of nomination who meet with laid down criteria with be polled.
- Election will run for three days, and the new Eze will be known Friday next week.

So help us God.

FreeGlobe: fvck, please we don't want onlytuth again lets try another person.

"Further more, if you object to any

@PointB I object onlytruth's nomination, The constitution only spells a single tenure of one year and moreover majority of people that nominated him has their igboness in doubt (mostly his clique and former members of his cabinet), also his publicity (good or bad) as a former eze is wearing down on other nominees which is not fair.

I will bring other points if you ignore these ones.
You don't want Onlytruth but other people want him.

The constitution only spells a single tenure of one year for every election. That doesn't mean the same person cannot be returned if he wins for the second time.

What do you mean by the fact that most people that nominated him have their identity in doubt?

Why not focus on campaigning for whoever you want rather than try to pull someone else down. Constitutionally, nothing stop Onlytruth from contesting. Let's not argue over issues that are explicit.

Nwanne, you made a good point. Theodore orji is a cultural man and have a sound knowledge of abia culture, infact all he does in abia state is to attend cultural activities. Does that make him a good governor? Go to abia state and ask if they have governor? Why are you misccontruing knowledge from leam leadership. Jonathan is a the only president to have phd, but he is the most criticized president in the history of nigeria. I respect odumchhi's contribution in promoting our culture but he can be made minister of culture nairaland.lol. Bro, we need a leader and not someone who knows iwa akwa, iriji, ikeji, omugwo etc.

Please do us a favour and post here were anyone forced or advocated for odumchi to call yoruba dirty and hausa bloody people.
Promoe: I have been following this thread for long time but this is what I have to say about this fellows;

Odumchi
He has been a better eze in 2 months than Onlytruth in 12 months. Its so pathetic that you guys were so dumb in thinking. I wonder what you guys expect from your Eze. Is it to open a thread like "Yorubas are the dirtiest people on earth" or "Hausas are bloody people"? I don't really understand this Eze NL ish. An Eze also is a teacher, which I saw this quality in Odumchi. He is very experienced in Igbo culture and I and many folks have got to learn a lot from this. For those who said he was 17 years, if a 17years boy's post is more educative than a 40years old fool forever man's post, isn't it the more reason to give him even more credits for his work? Instead all you could do is to team up and oust out eze. What sort of lesson are you teaching to non-Igbos about Igbo culture? An Abramovich system of government? No matter how bad a rulers tenure maybe, you're suppose to let him finish his tenure before unleashing words on him. You guys have started the rebellion and it has come to stay.
Ogugua
You're a promising eze nwayi, you look like one who really have vision for the umuada. Thumbs up, but if I were you I would equally resign, (i'm not asking you to, it's just me) because it's a strong revulsion to me, to work together with bunches of pointless and visionless people.

Onlytruth
I don't have anything against you but seriously with all due respect I'm very ashamed of you. You as the past eze suppose to use your leadership experience to settle matters here but instead you stood at the forefront in criticizing the eze. I don't know if its because you needed a second tenure but didn't get it then you decided to vent your frustration on the new eze. So pathetic! If you're to be re-elected, then everything here is just a joke.

Okija juju
I have nothing against you, i really love your sense of humour but unfortunately, this is not an eze comedy position. Electing you is just like a joke, because you're likely to throw insults on people. You all can check his siggy for confirmation. Hey! Don't even try to edit it angry

PointB & 9ja_I_hail
You guys have proven to us to be pointless just as Yoruba folks describe you. You follow the advice of few riffraffs and thereby indirectly making us a fool. Shame on you!

I will take note of your objection as a point against his candidacy, subject to the nomination and disqualification rule. But I must also say, the rule does not prevent an incumbent or former Eze from seeking a reelection as many times as he wishes. His former cabinet members couldn't be less Igbo than him. His publicity (popularity) is a strength not a weakness.

I also seek clarification on those nominees who have their "Igboness" in doubt.

I urge you to be part of the solution all the same.

I have a consideration admiration for your Igbo cultural demeanor on this forum. You are very much entitled to your opinions. I share in the sentiments expressed in some of them and tend to differ as well. My peoples say “Oke ehi gbalaga oke madu na-achu ya”. In addition, my people say “Anaghi eji ukwu abua awo ogwe”. In my humble opinion, I think Eze Ndigbo Nke Abua of Nairaland was found deeply indebted on both counts hence the sudden abdication of the throne.
I remembered telling them to allow the ezeship tenure to be 2years. This everyday election talk sucks big time.

For goodness sake not all teachers that teach in school are good leaders. We learn from what they teach even though they cant lead. Wasnt it a principal that did a virginity test here in nigeria sometime last year and she was condemned. Does that make her a good leader and to imagine that she has been teaching and people learning from her for years. Eze promoe, as a dedicated and faithfull christain, will abandon your faith because a knowledgeable aetheist gives you reason why you should do so. I can learn from odumchi but he is not a leader, simple. And who is the person that bashes? Am not aware of anyone that bashes ooo or are you insinuating that if someone gets involved in an argument or debate to dispel lies and propaganda against his people, he is bashing? Explain further bro!

I honestly agree with you on everyday show of Eze Ndigbo Nairaland election sucks. This is one among reasons Ndigbo community on Nairaland should be shroud and meticulous in electing a figure. Granted the vanity that surrounds the exercise, it shows one aspect of Ndigbo worthy of emulation. Eze Ndigbo, Nairaland or not, can not be a character that absconds when women shout Lion! Lion!! Lion!!! In addition, regardless of the insignificancy, Eze Ndigbo Nairaland can not be a person of divided loyalty.

Towing to the ongoing events, I beg to reserve this opportunity to salute Ogugua88 for her resolved determination to serve Umu Nnaya despite uncountable times she has been literally subjected to vitriolic criticisms on this forum.
