Well, ty for such a brilliant post, I've not laughed that hard in some time. I nearly had an asthma attack even, and I very rarely have those. In the midst of all that laughter was some worrying existentialism though, but I thankfully got over that else I'd have jumped off a cliff over my despair at the state of humanity.

Facing the real issue with the question, assuming you genuinely missed it (it happens to the best of us) and are not trolling in some manner or the other, if you're a creationist that asks this question to evolutionists; "if man evolved from monkeys (note: we didn't, but we can ignore that for now), why are there still monkeys?", can you now see how silly the question is?

Apply that reasoning to people who insist first cause must be their 'god', why not another god? Or better yet, why not something we can confirm, like simple energy, nature as is? Etc etc

Me sef laff myself tire at my answer to your 'question' and I am glad you had a laugh out of it! cheesy cheesy Miss your point? Never..... wink I merely pointed out what every 5 year old knows - you do not need all the sand on the beach to make a sand statue the size of mum or dad. The question about 'unevolved left-over monkeys' remains a genuine one! grin grin

I asked Logicboy03 a while back about the 'monkey-man' business: https://www.nairaland.com/1085214/how-christians-handle-miracles-magic/2

seyibrown:

Have you started growing your wings, extendable arms and legs? grin grin Noticed that dark coin-sized spot under your foot? Watch out cos that is the beginning of that evolved anus I talked about before. grin grin . . . . and you should write a book on the pointlessness of vehicular transport in readiness for the winged generation that is coming after your generation of ape-descendants. They won't need cars/trains/planers cos they'll evolve into homo wingus (winged humans). grin grin

You no get yourself! grin grin Sharrap ko, sharrap ni! grin grin

Now, please tell me:

1. why ALL monkeys DID NOT EVOLVE into MEN
2. why the left-over monkeys have not evolved into men or something else in the last thousands of years
3. why those ape-descendants have not evolve into 'Homo wingus' or similar grin

Lol.

How does unevolved monkey question remain valid though? For instance, if all species evolved the same way, then there'd be only one species around today.

The questions are more or else the same thing, that's why we find question like these silly. Obviously, not all members of a species evolve one way, some go this way and others that way, in all sorts of manners. Most eventually become extinct, others thrive for a bit. Black man and white man, wolves and dogs, small cats and big cats, us and the other apes. One can choose not to believe in it, that's one's prerogative, but to dismiss it with points like the question in my sig is rather silly. Unless I'm missing something, of course.

Just seeing your edits, ok

1. Same way not all mud became human
2. They evolved into the other great apes, some of them ie. Others extinct.
3. That depends on nature, or natural selection, and the gene mutations. In essence, it's just chance more or else.

It makes perfect sense, but like I said, one can choose not to believe it. Questioning the logic though would require better questions than these I would think.

Nah! The only reason man has not involved into anything other than man is because man was made man from day one. Same goes for monkeys ... and any other animal species.

Man was made from dust and will return back to dust (the components he was made from)
The Bible was right after all.

Gen 3:19 In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, till you return unto the ground; for out of it were you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return.

Ecc 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

Our bodies discomposes after death and goes back to its natural from- Dust
Re: On Wiegraf's Signature : If God made humans from mud then why is mud still here? by brainpulse: 4:34pm On Feb 25, 2013
What are the scientific proof that man’s body came from the dust of the ground, as the Bible says? The human body is made up of materials and minerals found on the surface of the ground, and not from the core of the earth. Oxygen, being the most abundant element on the earth’s crust or on the ground, makes up 65 percent of the human body, and carbon, also abundant on the top soil of the ground, is 18 percent, and hydrogen is 10 percent. The 59 elements found in the human body are all found on the earths crust. This is amazing because what the Bible says perfectly match the scientific composition of a human body.

The ignorance of these ‘imaginary people’ in what the Bible says betrays their alleged intelligence and knowledge in science. Of course, the human body is not made up only of dust, but God mixed the dust to water to produce clay. <!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
<!--[endif]-->

(Job 10:9) “Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?”

(Romans 9:20-21) “Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?”

The mixture is clay, understandably contains more water than dust. Who says that the information in the Bible is scientifically nonsense? They are the one’s that are nonsensical, and not the Bible!

The exact proportion of the minerals and materials, if maintained, make up a healthy human body (http://www.emory.edu/EMORY_REPORT/erarchive/1998/September/erseptember.21/9_21_98Size.html). Excesses in these materials will cause disorders and diseases. Excess of aluminum, for example, and iron, will be toxic for the human body. The proportions of the abundance of the 59 elements on the earths crust, is amazingly represented in its presence in the human body. Who says that the Bible is not scientific? These ‘imaginary and anti-scientific people’!

The correlation is because of the possibility of chemical evolution of all life from inorganic matter and not because of an old skyman molding dust into shape then breathing into it, how does that even make sense to you?

Has science proved that a complete complex system like the human body can be made in less than 24hours too?? shocked

This amounts to pissing all over the evidence, logic, and ending up with 'because I say so!'. Then pissing all over it again, and again, again, again. It's blatant, willful folly. smiley

You know I don't troll. The truth is that you don't even understand what you're asking. Let me dumb down a little to help your understanding. Let me take it to the scientific level. If man came from apes why are there still apes? If the big ba.ng started it all, why is our universe still expanding? If babies are made from matured zygotes, why can we still have zygotes?
