It depends on the type of fruit you plan on using. But note that there's a difference between 'Juice and Drink'.

When making fruit juice, you don't add water or sugar. Once you add water/sugar, it becomes a drink.

Here's the recipe for pineapple fruit drink.
Ingredients:
1 big pineapple
100g sugar
750ml water
Juices of 2 big limes (optional)

Procedure
1. Wash the pineapple properly before peeling.
2. Peel it, cut it up. If you have a juicer, it would be easier and you'll get your pure pineapple juice that way.
3. If not, blend it using a blender. Be carefully not to over blend it so that it won't become puree. When in puree form, it would be difficult to sieve.
4. Sieve it using a liquid sieve. It's advisable you sieve it twice or thrice depending on size of the pores of the sieve.
5. To make your syrup, dissolve the sugar in water and simmer gently for 6-8 minutes.
Let it cool.
If you pour the hot syrup into the drink, the heat would destroy the vitamins present.
6. Once the syrup cools ,add it to the already sieved pineapple juice.
You can also add the lime juice if desired. It would give the drink a sharp taste.
Chill before serving.

Enjoy your drink. smiley
