South african women should realize now that it is still early that oscar pistorius case could set a precedence to men murdering their spouses in coldblood and going away it such a heinous crime. I cry for this world we are in. A man shoots a woman inside a bathroom four good times, i mean four good times without hearing her scream after the first shot. GOSH! Listen to yourself thinking like a goat. Fellow had submitted his passport and where is he to run to in this world without a passport, without normal legs and with such a known face?

Unless the law expressly states that bail cannot be granted in murder cases (as is the case in Nigeria), there was enough ground to grant him bail.

The law is the law! There's no place for sentiments and emotions! Did you go through all the FACT presented by the prosecution in COURT? Not what was speculated on TV and news papers? He's not even on trial yet, the prosecution couldn't prove that he was a flight risk!

Are you saying that a robber cannot come into a house through a toilet window? I'm not holding brief for Oscar, but this part of your analysis is flawed. You have the benefit of hindsight, so its easy to say what you would have or wouldn't have done. The truth is that we can only speculate, Only Oscar knows exactly what happened.

Listen up friend! Weather the assumed intruder came in from the bathroom window or the main entrance, the questions are:
1. Where was his girlfriend whom he claims to love, and who was with him that nite during his shooting?
2. Does he claim not to have heard her voice after one shot? But he shot four times at a distance of 1.5m from the bathroom.
3. He was able to leave his bed and pick an unlicensed gun without his prosthesis, and yet did not notice his girlfriend was not on the bed?
4. A witness about 300m away during the shooting heard a loud argument, who was he talking with?

I watched the full sentence and Mr Pistorius's claims is simply unbelievable! Only a dumbass can take that, unless he claims insanity or some mental disorder.

You are the one thinking like a sheep. Guy, i have followed this case from day 1, infact, i listened to the judge's pronounciation of this bail which lasted for over 2hrs and i can authouritatively tell you how this case will end. Am aware his passport was ceased, infact, the plaintifs claimed he have a housd in i italy which pistorius denied. So, if your sister was shot four times by her boyfriend, you will have the guts to call a person a goat. After the first shot, oscar pistorius didnt hear her scream. To imagine that the judge said that the plaintiffs evidence of pre-medidated murder was weak. What does that tell you when the real case begins. Bro, pray your sister does not get killed in such manner by a lunatic, cos, you will change your tune. Sheep like you.

This is a case of murder here and it's no light issue! Any sane person will not do such...I guess he should have a better explanation if he's not trying to fool the SA courts.

Anyone who's comparing the SA's legal system to that of Nigeria is making a mistake. This is simply a murder in cold blood and in a global community of the 21st century, it is simply unacceptable and should be condemned in all ramifications, regardless of who is involved or where it takes place.

That is our surest way of bequeathing a saner world to our children and generations unborn!

1) He said it was very dark and the lights where off, besides recall his outburst in the last paralympics when he came second? And his apology after he had cooled down? He seems like someone that acts before thinking.

2) He claims he called out before he fired the first shot.. There's no one to confirm or deny this.

3) He stood up to close the screen door before he heard noises coming from the bathroom, and he remembered that some workers had worked in his home earlier had left ladders outside (did the prosecution say there was no ladder found outside?)

4) The so called witness was about 600 yards (six football fields) away at the time. can you really rely on testimony from someone that was so far away?

I still am undecided as to his guilt or innocence. So far the prosecution haven't really presented a case, and the onus is on them to prove that he is guilty.

I expect them to ask questions like why he didn't call the police or ambulance immediately? When the guards called him, why did he say everything was 'all right'?? Why did he call the manager of the estate first?? These are questions that's should be answered. Every other issue can be explained away!

Nobody should be fooled, Oscar possibly had an irreconcillable issue with Reeva and felt taking her out under this intruder cover would resolve the crisis. By all reasoning he murdered Reeva
It' s a pity the court is being sympathetic with him granting him bail.

The bolded sentences are enough grounds to prove that you wasted your parents' money in the name of going to school. Look at your puerile arguments. THE LAW HAS NO PLACE FOR SENTIMENTS! If you know anything about law or have had the opportunity to be involved in legal proceedings, you will be in a position to understand. Clearly, you are thinking like a goat so this will be my last word for you.

Go and read and get enlightened. You can start by brushing up your English. Clean up all your misspellings, incorrect sentences, grammar and syntax and then come back here with a superior argument devoid of emotion. I speak three Nigerian languages and my English is still as perfect as can be. So I see no reason why you who spent at least 20 years of learning cannot communicate in the medium of expression understood by all learned Nigerians.

Weak motive. The only real way to prove any motive is to use the "jealous rage" argument. They were not married and no insurance money to claim. The guy has money. So what could possibly be a motive?

Unless the prosecution does something to prove a known history of physical violence or abuse which was reported to the authorities before, their case is weak. Even OJ who had a previous domestic battery conviction still got off free. It is very hard to prove premeditated murder in Oscar's case because all the other elements of spousal murder I have mentioned above are absent.

No mind am. I stayed at a hotel in south africa and the toilet's window was of the same dimensions as the bedroom's, unlike here in nigeria. A wide window like that will afford an intruder easy ingress especially given that it had no "burglary proof" iron bars.

This is either a homicide or an un-intentional domestic accident. I am neither a lawyer, medical practitioner nor a detective. But has anyone ever heard of bipolar disorder? Did they run him through any kind of medical test - complete head MRI to ascertain there are no leads to mental disorder, screen his blood and liver to be sure he wasn't on any dope? There are sicknesses that make people act irrational and aggressive spontaneously, against their will.

It's a bail hearing and not a sentence, that's an obvious typo.

1. It was dark and the lights went off, but he was able to search for his gun but couldn't locate his girlfriend lying on the same bed

2. He claimed to have called out and what response did he get? Then he fired not one, not two, not three shot and still got no response

3. What kind of strange noise could be coming from the bathroom except that of someone using the toilet or the shower? What other strange noices could he have heard How strange he was quick to remember that workers had earlier worked in his home but could not remember his girlfriend who was spending the nite with him on an early Valentine morning.

4. You should have heard that the prosecutors confirmed the witness to have been at a 300m distance (not 600). Whether they were 300 or 600m away, they could clearly hear some arguments from his home at that time of the nite. And who was he talking with? He clearly has no answers!

Regardless of whom he called first, this is a cold-blooded and heartless murder by some disabled and mentally unstable man! Probably he might have been on some drugs, maybe Testosterone found with him - if that affects him adversely.

We have to wait till June to hear what new explanations he has to give!
