Hello please, I just wanna know about this banking business. I want to know if I can make ten percent of the money I deposited for loan every month. Any useful ideas please?

No bank will give you 10% monthly, for a fixed deposit... the will probably give u 3% for the whole year. your best bet is to either partner with someone on a business and share profits with them, or become a money lender of some sort and request x amount of interest to be paid to you monthly, or you look for a profitable place to invest your money that would yield you the kind of interest you are looking for.

@op go out and start a business. Take risk and make Money, if you dont have business idea, then invest in people that has or find an existing business an invest.

If u are not sure on wat u want to use ur money 4 now, try buying short term treasury bill.

i was there today bt d highest they could offer me is 7% for a million plus. GTB is 6.5%. Access bank told me it ws 11% on january.

Why not try online investment with some part of your money.You will be amazed.

Actually, Access bank was offering about 14% per annum as at the last time I checked and this is for funds of N1m and above on Fixed deposits.

Bro, go back to Access and ask that they invest the money in Bankers' Acceptance (BA) or commercial paper (CP) for you. The withholding tax you pay on fixed deposit nibbles away your returns, but both BA and CP have no tax. You could also check other banks for good rate..GTBank, Zenith, UBA etc.
