Okay, the current version 2.68 supports Import-Export Autocad (.dfx) format.

Also if you plan to use Blender spend time familiarizing with the controls & practice before you start using it for work.

@ ladanski(m),nice work. You can use the Gather Settings(Inside World button) on the Mosque to create some depth for the stone.

@Amhatu, thanks. But its not a mosque. I wanted to create a video tutorial but the moment my polycount started to rise, the pc started hooking. This is purely a modelling phase. One I complete it, I will move to texturing and finally, RENDER =D

@ ladanski(m), thought so. What kind of building will it be?

Its just a small resort by the sea. I have decided to go back to basics for now. I am feeling like I rushed too fast. I want to take it slow this time. Inorganic modelling, organic modelling, texturing+lighting, rigging+animating and finally rendering+compositing. I will set a small project for myself at each phase.

Well I haven't made anything in blender for quite a while so I finally decided to just dive in and do something. (THIS IS STILL A WIP)
I started this like a few days ago. I decided to make a Knight-mare frame in Blender.
Knight-mare frames a sick, bad ass, killer robots found in an anime called "Code geass" (lol. i'm pretty sure Most Nigerians don't even know what anime is)

Anyway, I'm still blocking out the main shapes though. I haven started work on the details yet. when i'm done i'm going to unwrap, texture, rig and render this properly in Cycles. I'll probably release the blend file for download as well if anyone wants to use the model. I'll post my progress here.
So here are some quick renders with blender internal.

@chuxxy, looking forward to the finished artwork. Fyi, anime is pretty popular in Nigeria. Ive watched almost a hundred and I am currently following Naruto, one piece, hunterxhunter, brave10..... and more.
