Note: My younger sister uses a Samsung galaxy s3 and she is full of praise for this phone.

Also it's over a month now and I am still en I need help please. this phone to the fullest. I can't even remember where I dumped my HTC desire HD. This is faster, brighter and sharper screen, lighter, more functional and battery last longer. And all for 25500, equivalent of £100, I don't even need an insurance for the phone, that's best value for money!!! God bless the makers of this phone. Sagem/Infinix/tecno.

if you need the specs like gsm arena, just install those benchmark software like antutu and get it your self.

are u sure ure on 3g not edge cos it takes longer to connect via edge most time...

I got the infinix race about 3 days ago.. nd its been great so far.. but I av been unable to root it.. I enabled usb debuged nd connect it to my pc but it failed to intall the software automatically nd my pc did nt recognise it... plz if there is anybody who av rooted be kind to give us step by step procedure to it.. tanks inadvance

koonbey: I think it should be obvious from the fact that the google play store recognizes this as a tecno phone that the and its similarity to the tecno lineup that the phone was produced under OEM contract for some Nigerian entrepeneur. So,look at the phone as jux a new model of Tecno...which in my opinion,is a very good phone,the besT option in the lineup

If you want to root your race lite, you will first have to know the chipset it has by running antutu benchmark, you can then proceed from there.
OR
If you can't be bothered to run antutu benchmark, connect your race lite to a pc and take note of any messages that pop up from your Pc's notification area.

For those who want to root their infinix race bolt phones, simply go to h*tt*p://gleescape(dot)com/?p=1466 and follow the instructions to the letter. It worked like a charm for me.
