The people who killed the CP may be very much around in Enugu. A week before the CP was shot, one of the police escorts that follow the govs Son was shot dead outside a Night Club. His AK 47 was collected before the other police men inside came out and fired at them while they drove off. The men followed the govs son till he entered the club, before they shot the policeman and took his gun.

Seems like they are going about killing policemen and taking their guns.they might be planning a major robbery.

yesterday on my way to ugbawka, i drove along express on arriving 4corner junction, i saw a young dude, that was been searched from head to toe, even his suv was searched as well. but i wasnt stopped. Police are in different check points now but no one was arrested lol

Listen to urself, so police should also arrest innocent guys like my cousin. Am sure you are saying all these based on what you've heard. God sees and knows all.

One thing i have learnt and it has always worked. If you walk around, dress corporately, have a tie around your neck even if you do not have a jacket to put over your shoulder. If you drive around, always pass as a corporate personality with your suit hanging at the bank of the car and a neck tie across your neck, slow down at the police check point, dont look them in the face, slow down briefly and drive off again. At night, dont wait to be asked, as you approach, switch on your inner light, as u get to them, switch off again and slowly move on, police will hardly stop you in those instances. I cannot remember when last i had a discussion with them and sometimes i have driven through where they are carrying out massive arrests and stopping vehicles for search. I am a late night crawler so i know what i talking about.

The above comment is most unfair to the law abiding citizens in Enugu State, no matter how many they may be. It's a minimum requirement of fair comment on any issue to realise that every clan is made up of the good, the bad and the ugly. No state in Nigeria, and I repeat, no state in Nigeria has monopoly of robbery, kidnapping,assasinations, corruption, wantom blood shedding and other forms of social vices.These problems are national challenges and until we rise beyond ethnic and parochial inclinations, their solutions may continue to elude us. In my street, just in an hour u'l see up 2 7 police patrol vehicle sway by, even my uncle was arrested 2 days ago cos he went to bail the brother dat was arrested at night dat same day, my friend was arrested wid his friends while drinking in the bar and my parents ar like trying to chain me not 2 go out cos d last time a policeman was killed in topland near wer i was living, i was arrested by sars in d bar wer i was and they said they couldn't take dat again. Do u have to be all over the city to get information??...u comment beats me...this type of stuff has happened some years ago during my University days in Enugu...Robbers burnt a police Van during a robbery and the police started arresting people on sight for one week,im not kidding, bread sellers,old men on bikes,women frying akara,people sleeping in their houses etc, we practically stayed indoors for that long...its a shame how the Nigerian police responds to emergencies, saw bus loads of marktet women arrested...the cells in enugu and Nsukka were filled and the started relocating those arrested to Obollo Afor...so if you havent experienced a particular incdent dont comment on it....
