Solozzo: Jonathan has shown he wishes toristinflame Nigeria more. He granted amnesty to nigerdelta terrorists, paid them huge sums of money and sent them to overseas for training. Why is he fhreatening BH with punishment? What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

It was a missed opportunity for Jonathan to win northern votes : he would have used the opportunity to unite, integrate the nation and show his peaceful nature if he had promised amnesty in exchange for peaceful cooperation from all persons involved in the unrest. BH has virtually conceded defeat.

After all Ojukwu who caused the death of over 2 million Nigerians as a result of the Biafra declaration was granted amnesty -by a northern president incidentally.

Jonathan please review and grant amnesty to BH in the spirit of nationhood and begin the process of reconstruction and rehabilitation. No victor, no vanquished. After all the negligence of govt, poverty and suffering in Nigeria may have led to Islamic terrorism. Why no terrorists in Dubai....
Even Ghadafi an Islamic leader refused to grant terrorist amnesty yet your likes are looking cheap ways to raise more money to bomb innocent civilians.

Mr. Solo. Who is the government giving amnesty to. Go and read up what the term amnesty means and in what circumstance it is used. Do you realise it also a legal contract.

With whom are you signing this contract. Who has come to table talk with the numerous previous offers. Do you know that whoever signs an amnesty document does so on behalf of the government and people of Nigeria and should he or she toy with it can be heavily legally sanctioned. So if you think the insurgents are right not to cease fire and 'come to the table' but expect 100million Nigerians to capitulate then you are not being realistic.

To me this government has Kitty-Cat-footed on this matter long enough. If it was Obama, Hollande or Assad they will never do what you ask for.

you keep exposing your illiteracy and ignorance on this forum on a daily basis and you shamelessly have the gut to insult others. Maiduguri is the capital of borno, u dumbtard. Anyway, this is what is expected from a student of the cult-infested LASU. Sheer ignorance.

Jaftee: Boko haram are not faceless, a politician was caught to have posses operational weapon in kaduna. That man is not faceless, he should unveil the rest of the mask.

Yea, and a PDP senator is still on trial for having a DIRECT contact with boko haram, and GEJ knows their members in govt, so I guess they are not faceless afterall.

Why is PapaBrowne silent on this thread? I thought he said the north is now getting safe? I even enjoined him to move his family to Borno.

PDP apologists with their fanicful stupidity of relying on a clueless Retardeen for the growth and development of Nigeria.

Sincere 9gerian: What the president said while he was in Borno have been in the background since 12noon today. No front page for it, despite the fact that the thread is almost on its 3rd page. But reports of explosions that happened just this evening have made front page.

It shows that we have sadist as moderators here and these moderators are doing a dis-service to NL. Shame on these moderators.
What are we going to do with what he said. For your information, majority of nairalanders watch the gaddem speech live.
