Hello Everyone,

Selling a used vehicle is not high on most people's list of favorite things to do. One alternative to placing ads or consigning a car is donating it to a charitable organization for a tax deduction. By donating a car or other vehicle to a non-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, you can aid that charity by giving it an item the charity can re-sell or sell for spare parts.

Established in 1966, this chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America donates money and equipment to Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers in Lexington and Louisville, Ky., and Indianapolis, Ind. The agency's mission is to improve the quality of life for veterans with spinal cord injuries. The chapter accepts tax-deductible donations of cars, trucks, RVs and other vehicles. According to the Better Business Bureau of Kentucky, at least 80 percent of funds go to helping veterans and other disabled people.

Best Regards,
