Northern Leaders Lack The Initiative To Tackle Boko Haram by Noraokon: 1:20pm On Mar 14, 2013
The Failure of State Governments and Traditional rulers in North to address the rising spate of terror ravaging the region despite receiving huge allocations from the Federal Government for Security vote is no longer news.
But notwithstanding, the general failure and incompetence exhibited by these northern leaders, every sane living creature will not stop wondering why these State Governments and Stakeholders have refused to use their own initiatives to bring lasting Peace to those troubled regions. For instance, what Abia State Government in its capacity did when Kidnapping was trending in the State despite been excluded from the Federal Governments amnesty program.

And they parade themselves as chief security officers of the their respective state with huge security vote. Shame. Aside Borno state Gov. that said he has startrd dialogue with the sects...others have not taken a step...and oush the whole blame of federal government as if it is the FG that came to their domain to plant Boko Haram.

Nigerians are gradually coming to understand that Boko Haram is a brain child of some Northern elders especially those calling for amnesty, to partake in the National Cake. but i strongly believe that God willing, the monsters they produce will soon consume them one after the other.

How do you expect them have the ability/ technical tactics to handle HB, when the president of Nigeria/ Army/police force/JTF can't.

As far as am concern what's happening now is what i refers to as "What goes around comes around" cuz i can remember when BH started unleashing attack on Churches/Christians in the north, their leaders were silence over it not knowing that it will soon come to their door step too,so they better go back home and look inward n model out measures that will bring lasting peace to their land rather than sit idle and put the blame solely on Fed.Govt for a Monster that was created beneath their nose and they did nothing to stop it.
