I read an article about black women on black women[/http://afrogle.com/the-spirit-of-the-african-woman.html/], the writer was inspired by certain ladies in Africa that have made their mark over time. According to the writer who is a feminist, As a little child, my biggest influence was and still is my dad. As I grew older, I looked up to the women folk whom I identify with. I looked up to African women like Oprah, Daisy Danjuma, Florence Ita-Giwa , my favourite Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Ellen Sir leaf Johnson, Beyonce. etc. I look up to these women because they have left their mark in the sands of time. They have helped shape my thoughts on life, the world and business. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is the reason I picked up the financial Times and got into business school. Oprah is the reason I hope to be successful and touch lives in the world. Florence is the reason I see myself as the first female Nigerian president. I also cannot ignore the other women unknown to the world but I have learned a thing or two from them.
