Israel first announce a locust alarm after large swarm were spotted in cairo area.By tuesday locust of the size of small birds were spotted in balconies and gardens in central and northern israel but an ominious cloud of millions settled near the tiny rural village of khemin in southern israel along the boarders of egypt.
Potato farmers said their field were ruined while drives could not see through the windshield however the situation is not anybetter in part of cairo,upper egypt,the canal area,the red sea govenorate,el arish and other border areas in the sinai penisula.monitoring stations have being establish in suspected destinations for the locust.
