Two inmates of St-Jerome prison, near Montreal in Canada, have made a daring escape by climbing up a rope into a hovering helicopter, BBC News reports. Prison officials said Benjamin Hudon-Barbeau, 36, and Danny Provencal, 33 fled at about 14:20 (18:20 gmt) on Sunday. A manhunt was immediately started and one inmate has been re-arrested. Police say they have surrounded the area the second is hiding and they are trying to get him to surrender peacefully.
