Its my school, if I were being biassed, shouldn't it even be on the side of the school, bros, you know the way pple always rave about the present school they are in or their alma mater abi? Proudly sef. Unfortunately, the assesment I have of my school is fair, based on the pedigree matter. Apart from that my brother, I understand that a bird in hand... But you see also, once beaten... (pardon again, the pun i.e.), I shouldn't unnecessarily risk my life because I want to pursue an education, what u feel?. And, I've already had my transcript processed, so the only way is ahead, by virtue of no choice. Please, let me leave the school's name out of it let me not bite the hand that fed me- even if it fed me literary poison. Thanks for the continuing interest, I appreciate.

As I said earlier, pursue the abroad dream however, do not neglect the present one until you have your Visa at hand.
That said, have you contacted your universities of choice to know the procedure for transferring?

I will advice you ask the latest time you can resume.My start date is 26th August and I submitted May 7th.I spoke with my supervisor about the latest time I can resume for this Fall and he said mid-sept. I believe each school has its peculiarity so explore this option first before deferring to January.Based on a friend's experience....he was told to get an official letter from the school that he can resume in Septembers before they can issue his TRV..so stay positive that you can be called any time from now....so explore the september option and lets see how that goes....all the best

I am applying with a transcript to brandonu, I'm in my 3rd year in the current school I'm in in Nigeria, I am 27 years which means I entered my current school in 09 when I was 23, unfortunately I do not know if the embassy will want to grant me a visa because of my age. I finished secondary school in 2003, even with my transcript do you think that would matter? Or would they ask me questions like what I was doing in between those years. Plus, I have a UNILAG diploma in 08 which I did not include because of bad results, should I call the school and ask them to include it, so it can shorten my stay at home time for the school and embassy people( the diploma result was NOTHING to write home about) And also, how do I go about getting a neco transcript and how long it takes.Thank you all, including the silent observers.

is it neco ssce or neco gce??....if neco ssce, den go back to ur secondary school to collect ur neco original certificate...dats wat you need..

bullstriker: Eventhough,i walk through the valley of the shadow of Cdhc and keyano college,i shall fear no interview and tuition payment.......I received an email that my TRV has been approved.my gratitude goes to each member of this great thread especially Siga,Tolyem etc.my case was exceptionally complicated;great testimony loading.........after 3 consecutive denial in less than 2yrs,tuition fee wahala and a last minute interview after medicals
please any assist on how to get an affordable flight ticket.

What are the chances of applying for a visa to Canada and working there for a while, from the UK without necessarily coming back to Nigeria first? Are you intending to immigrate to Canada and live for a while, or just try to get a Canadian work permit from the UK?
