Then for boarding, one girl @ st Johns gave me a consent letter stating she will accomodate me in her apartment till I get my own; I forwarded d letter to them.

Lots of traffic on that website....the recent/latest ad posted already has 805 views.....Guess guys over there are really vigilant about accomodation in sernia...I would advice any winter Lambton student here to start watching out for accomodation.....cuz its really tussle getting accomodation there....

In addition to what Rolatims said,
You can pay it to any 1st bank or any other acceptable bank around you (payable to CDHC Lagos only) and come along with the draft to VFS cos there is the possibility that there'll be crowd @ the GTB located in VFS

NOTE:
There are 2 signature columns to be signed on the bottom right hand corner of the draft...its either the both columns are signed or one is signed and the other column clearly indicated "No signature required"

From my point of view, the letter of Appointment should suffice for the purpose of identification of ur sponsor cos the letter head will indicate that his employer is the Government..

4-6 months payment slip should be ok...

the appointment letter is ok if it has Employer contact details and full street address of business location.
then, the sponsorship letter should indicate his/her nature of employment/occupation, their relationship to you, their number of dependents and full contact details.

6 months pay slip is ok.

I turned in the additional requested docs requested by the embassy to VFS today (tuition/accommodation fee receipts).
I really hope for the very best as I wrote to my school today and they confirmed to me that if I am not in school on September 3rd, I will have to defer my admission till next year September. And I am determined to fight till the very end because I resigned from my job a month ago when I received my medical instruction - July 19th (YES, shocking right?). I guess I have so much faith. Please put me in your prayers friends. I plan to go to the embassy on Monday.
I am believing God for a miracle.

Ok,I see...if you submit ur application before october 23,you won't have any need for the biometrics.

Biometrics starts from 23rd october, 2013 onwards...

Their English there get as e be shaa...I hope I got it right...

.... Bro... which of those rooms are u targeting... keep in mind... Sarnia is not that big of a place... na border town to Michigan... so, it might be war to get a room... but nothing is impossible.... worst case, the normal trick is to book an hotel bro... then search for a room once u land... that would even give u a chance to sabi the place well....

...on the contrary...we do have guys on ground at most of these schools.... the problem is once una chop visas... guys don't come back... so... its always a dead end again.... only a hand full come back and na in and out...

Burningflamz: You cant get the landlord' direct email.
Just sendba message there on the listing and it would hit thr landlord's email or better still if there is a tel no.there, call him and ask if the apartment is still available , if yes, request for a mail conversation.
Note:most landlord' want on ground students before they negotiate rent.
Also look at viewit.ca and Places4us.ca

Students' housing at Lambton College no space again o, they advise me to pay one year living expense to the school acct,. the College indicate they will assist me to find an accommodation once i arrive.

I need ans to all questions. One always have to make a plan B. I've not concluded yet which to go for... But hope its safe to present paper or letters frm someone that wants to house me even tho I filled in my app that I have no one in Canny.
