hi guys, just said I should pop down and drop a few notes here. Canada is a really nice country and for some reason everyone is absolutely nice and polite. am in Lambton college and its in a small town in Ontario but still it fairly ok. hoses aint expensive either (personal opinion). the college is great wid everytin( I study ITP btw) and my lecturers seem to know a lot of what they are talking about wid so much experiences that they share wid us. however the courselaod is a lot tbh bt I guess that's what am paying for innit. no one wants to pay such amount and av lectures once in a week. my Advice for people that are coming here for the 1st time is
1 arrive in college early,
2 talk to people around you.( u are not in Nigeria where everyone minds their own biz "introverts"),
3 Socialise when you can, "
4 bring an EXTENSION CABLE/SOCKET cs you sockets are different from the ones in Northern America.
5. Also don't start thinking of conversion rates when you get here else you wouldn't spend anything
6. bring "INDOMINE"...you defo gonna want this and any other local foodsturvs if ya d type that doesn't wanna tryout other sturvs.

that's all for now good friends.....pm me if you need me help.....
P.S heading to NIAGRA FALLS nextweekend!!!!! #turntup#OOOOPPPPPPPSSSSS

Hello house,
Trust everyone is doing great. Congrats to those who got their TRVs while I was away and also, those who got Medical calls.
I have not been able to comment as I have been so occupied of late and more so, the rate of growth of the thread is exponential thus, making it difficult to catch up with.
@Fhemmy, never knew you would like the gala so much but hopefully, when I am coming back from the winter vacation, I will try and get you many.
I will try to check in once in a while, I promise.
I pray we will get to hear/read more positive news on this thread.

@ Ajibola,

The school only offers admission for fall applicants

http://www.cna.nl.ca/international-students/post.asp

( Just 3 PGD courses are offered- Journalism, International Business Management and Safety Engineering Technology as detailed in the link) Although, the school has a lot of courses for the 2yr Diploma depending on the course that you intend to study. The Tuition is relatively cheap at CAD 8,000 per annum compared to others but the employment prospect is very low cos of the population. I guess that is the more reason while Tuition fees are cheap in Newfoundland and Labrador but the truth is, you do not have to be restricted to the province even after study.

Please note that it is a College and not a University

To understand fully well how it works,I advise you to read thru from page 1 to this last page cos "How it works is very relative and differs from one individual to another"....most applicants have different experiences.

Reading thru will make you to understand perfectly well how the knights and bishops operate on the chess board of CDHC...

dotman: Morning all,

I am reporting live from St Mary's University in Halifax Nova Scotia. i would like to nominate myself as and ambassador for the school on nairaland, so feel free to send me message with regards to admission into the school.

Other universities in that area include, Dalhousie and University of Kings college. Although i dont know my way around that much yet, i could still be of assistance.

And btw, the cold here is special. so think about that as well.

Cheers.

hi please do you know if st mary's university accept documents by email?
