I don't think you have to attest your documents however, if you feel the need to, I think you can go to a Notary Public wherever you are with the original and photocopy to notarize.

Are you serious it wasn't in your checklist? If it wasn't then I would say you are safe but I think most times they need it to confirm from the school however, they should be able to do that still since on your forms you would have stated the school you are going to and what program it is. Best of luck and hope it works out as you so wish.

You can do it yourself, just draft it, print it and take to the high court..They might request for a passport picture of your sponsor so they can stamp on it.

I think they charge more for proxy.
He/She should write her name n signature @ d bak of d foto too.

Its the no. 1 requirement on the checklist bro (cos its just as good as ur invitation to Canada)...it is written as "Letter of acceptance"...

I advise you find a way to go about this cos its way too risky...fight for it now...don't just relax...not @ dis point that you've gone very far in ur visa application process.

I wish you a mail in ur MyCIC account to go for medicals.

My brother it is not there, believe me, and secondly u must never go to the next step if u haven't provided all the requirement in the checklist, the checklist d gave me is; application outside of canada, supporting documents-family information, financial support, passport n travelling docs-i opened dis one n it says d pageof ur passport showin birth,name,photo, etc., passport photo, shedule1 application, and letter of explanation- if u want to explain further abt ur application.
Infact am definitely crying about dis!! I shld hv added it to any docs

Maybe you filled the questionnaire wrongly. Because I went through it 2 times before I filled my application with different answers and it gave me slightly different check-list.

If you're sure you answered the questionnaire properly, then I'm sure you're fine.

I advise u go with your sponsor to sign...some commisioners of oath may request that ur sponsor must sign infront of him.They did it to me.

Please i asked a question abt getting a work permit in Canada. If the person gets a diplomatic entry visa to Canada, will they need TRV to work or TRV & then work permit? Do they hire foreign graduates? Please where r d gurus here?

My opinion: The message means that the embassy has a response for you, its usually "a sealed for you only" kind of thing. So whoever submitted the application is to collect the package at VFS.

I am just tired of this message "Your application reference number ****** is being processed at Embassy on 28/03/2013" I don't know when this message will change

Its just the normal msg you get for tracking, if it were to be;
1. your application has been finalized and you need to contact vfs
or
2.Contact vfs for further instruction,
Both means something different, though, i didn't use their exact words.

I agree with latra. I think d jay caused confusion by not quoting the message as it appears on screen. Think it's something like "for more info......" and that's the usual message before anything happens. I dont think he should start running to vfs. He may call them for "more info" before he starts "running" from ph to lag!
