Hi all, can I do the affidavit of support myself at the high court, or must it be done by my sponsor?. what do i need to take along with me? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by GboyegaD(m): 9:01pm On May 16, 2013 |
Raahym: I don't think you have to attest your documents however, if you feel the need to, I think you can go to a Notary Public wherever you are with the original and photocopy to notarize. |

emmausa: yeah brothers i have succesfully sumited my applicatitions online, but i fail to sumit my offer letter as it wasnot written in the checklist. is this a problem? Are you serious it wasn't in your checklist? If it wasn't then I would say you are safe but I think most times they need it to confirm from the school however, they should be able to do that still since on your forms you would have stated the school you are going to and what program it is. Best of luck and hope it works out as you so wish. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by emmausa: 9:21pm On May 16, 2013 |
@GboyegaD, yes it wasn't on my checklist/frm d list of documents to sumit, infact d online process is way too simple, and nomuch forms were asked, d truth is i myself really forget about d offer letter since i wasn't seeing it on d documents to sumit. I strongly pray things workout fine, or maybe they may request it later on. |

earthgreeners: Hi all, You can do it yourself, just draft it, print it and take to the high court..They might request for a passport picture of your sponsor so they can stamp on it. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by dommakavelli: 11:22pm On May 16, 2013 |
earthgreeners: Hi all, Yes you can, follow Mozo's instructions n tell him/her to sign d deponent b4 u take it to d court. I think they charge more for proxy. He/She should write her name n signature @ d bak of d foto too. |

emmausa: yeah brothers i have succesfully sumited my applicatitions online, but i fail to sumit my offer letter as it wasnot written in the checklist. is this a problem? Its the no. 1 requirement on the checklist bro (cos its just as good as ur invitation to Canada)...it is written as "Letter of acceptance"... I advise you find a way to go about this cos its way too risky...fight for it now...don't just relax...not @ dis point that you've gone very far in ur visa application process. I wish you a mail in ur MyCIC account to go for medicals. All the best... 1 Like |

Onye oma:My brother it is not there, believe me, and secondly u must never go to the next step if u haven't provided all the requirement in the checklist, the checklist d gave me is; application outside of canada, supporting documents-family information, financial support, passport n travelling docs-i opened dis one n it says d pageof ur passport showin birth, name, photo, etc., passport photo, shedule1 application, and letter of explanation- if u want to explain further abt ur application. Infact am definitely crying about dis!! I shld hv added it to any docs |

Funds available for my stay; I guess that is a combination of Tuition and living expenses for the 1st year.....YES/NO |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by Maximip(m): 8:20am On May 17, 2013 |
emmausa: Maybe you filled the questionnaire wrongly. Because I went through it 2 times before I filled my application with different answers and it gave me slightly different check-list. If you're sure you answered the questionnaire properly, then I'm sure you're fine. |

Robbie37:Am sorry do you mean I should go to vfs in lagos or call dem please explain am in ph nw, like does the message I recive on my screen wen eva I track mean anything. thanks |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by Robbie37: 3:47pm On May 17, 2013 |
d jay: My opinion: The message means that the embassy has a response for you, its usually "a sealed for you only" kind of thing. So whoever submitted the application is to collect the package at VFS. |

ThnxIts just the normal msg you get for tracking, if it were to be; 1. your application has been finalized and you need to contact vfs or 2.Contact vfs for further instruction, Both means something different, though, i didn't use their exact words. @all...like how long will it take colleges to give admission. 1 Like |

Robbie37: @RRobbie37, i don't angry with you that he shld go to VFS. that is d same thing mine have been telling me since the first time i tracked it with was few days after submission. Though it is not actually saying "package' it says 'Visa application, tracking ID No.............. is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, Lagos. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website." But rather he should call vfs if he is not OK with waiting, my opinion though. 1 Like |

latra: I agree with latra. I think d jay caused confusion by not quoting the message as it appears on screen. Think it's something like "for more info......" and that's the usual message before anything happens. I dont think he should start running to vfs. He may call them for "more info" before he starts "running" from ph to lag! |
