Find Out!:
House Howfa!

......(oyinbo people be olodo...dem dey call housemate roommate undecided grin ). No stress at all at point of entry Detroit. With the short length of time I was interrogated, i could as well have been one of the many French & EU nationals on my flight from Paris also visiting the US. Lol. But, special reminder here: Make sure you arrive at the US BEFORE or BY the date on your I-20.

I wish everyone all the best o, again, follow the thread and and listen to the advice of the Ogas here. Do your standardized tests and prepare very well for your interview. Above all, even after the visa, don't come here without enuf cash, and even when you do come with enough cash, watch your expenses very well (like i'm really doing now.lol) and aside from tuition fees etc, sort things like rent out first before buying other stuff.

Hoping Uncle Justwise wont delete this post even as I head out to the Life in the USA thread to repost it. smiley

Na you no no say that na roommate, not necessarily that your roommate stays the same room with you...... This is US mehn. Wardrobe is closet.

Why do you need anyone around there? I don't know any house members around but I have quite a number of friends at Houston.

hello everybody, I need your urgent advice. I was denied F1 visa on 31st of July due to my choice of degree which is associate degree. In my DS160 form I said i was single. Later on I was called upon to attend a confrence on energy renewal as the chairman house committee on power and energy.Am representing Ondo State in the parliament and ministry of youth will sponsor my trip.I was asked to fill in my DS160 form that i married which i denied in my f1 application.Though I have my marriage certificate and wedding pictures for my B1B2 visa application. My question is,are they going to check my previous f1 ds160 form or they will work on my new ds160 for B1B2? I have gotten new interview date, am 30yrs,married, working and member of Nigeria Youth parliament.

YES! YES!! YES!!! They will check it. I wonder why people lie forgetting that they can always recall their application.

Anybody on here at TAMU?
The International Student Services is offering a temporary 3-day stay for International students at $5.
I guess after that you pay the normal high rent.
Abeg oo, this looks like a greek gift.

I am going to Texas A&M(college station) but my flight will touch down in Houston(IAH).
This is about 40 miles North West of Houston.
Who knows the cheapest way to get there?

This your case get as e be o. Were you actually going to the US for studies when you applied for a F-1 visa? Why the sudden change from F-1 to B1/B2 within how many weeks? The VO will want to have his/her doubts-intending immigrant cleared.

That said, it's possible there is a change of marital status if you have proof to show but be mindful of the date showing on the marriage certificate.

All in all, The VO has 100% access to your past application and will first refer to it before listening to your new case. #Talking from experience#

GOD WILL HELP YOU.

You could use the supper shuttle, greyhound or the airport shuttle.

No it isn't. Just tell the family friend to come pick you up at the airport of arrival.

You can always retake if you don't like your score, however, if you had a very high score on the Quantitative section then don't worry too much just kill the SOP

I thought they take the average. So if you take it say 3 times the take the average of the three, so if you scored low in two of them, and a superb on the third the average might bring your score way low.
