(1) Tap on Start > Settings icon > Wireless Controls >
Menu > Connections > Advanced > Select networks > New.
Connection Name: MTN Internet
Select Modem: Cellular Line (GPRS)
Enter APN: mtnwap
(2) Leave all fields blank and Tap Finish.
(3) Tap on Manage Existing Connections.
Make sure MTN Internet is selected.

Hello my good Nairalanders gurus, please one of my Friend that saw me with HTC G2 was impressed and went ahead to buy himself HTC G2. "htc with sense", mine is HTC G2 T-Mobile. The problem now is that after the configuration with the MTN, the phone is Browsing fine, but unable to download any application from the android market. Please guys in the house your suggestion to proffer solution to this problem would be highly appreciated.

normal configuration, just MTN internet on the profile and the rest blank, and am Browsing fine, same with his own also

Download playstore from anoda location. Google it. Go to settings then applications then click on dowloaded click on the open applications and then force close them.
