After several decades of Igbos investing heavily in Yorubaland, Yoruba investors make first major investment in Igboland

This is newsworthy item. Slowly they will make the same level of inroad in Igboland as Igbos have made in their land. They are welcome to come compete. Let teh best man win.

Now we have something (hopefully more will come) to hold on to should dey do any sme sme with our 50% investment in Lagos, Abeokuta and Ibadan. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

OP....I think instead we should rather welcome them with a proviso ...they respect the cultures of the natives and obey the rules...once they know that they are immigrants anywhere in the SW...and never contemplate into dabbling into the local politics ..then they would be welcome..

After buying all the remaining land in Lagos, they'll move to the next state, before you know it... your people will be like the native-americans living in the remotest parts of the state. lol. And when they kick you bottom out of London, since una no dey build house for villagewhat you gonna do, huh? Lagos boy? What you gonna do when them Igbos buy up your land and you have no place to live?

Maybe you can come work for the factory in the east and live in the stair well... like a rat ... just don't take poison, okay? We love you, bro.

ROTFLMAO
first of all, I don't think there is any cause for alarm. those ones will remain up north. and if anything happens to them, they will send replacement from iboland as they have always done. na today?

in all seriousness though, it will definitely make an impact if there is a sudden mass influx of igbo refugees in lagos. people will notice and react to it.
I wonder what's so scary about the east that the folks don't wanna stay there. just heard today that 166 easterners died enroute to Gabon in an attempt to escape the east. I mean gabon of all places!! are things really that bad in SE? soon we will hear that they are trekking to Somali.
na wa.
