Currently, Tottenham have some fantastic youth products on their books. Although they may not be able to compete with the two Manchester Clubs and Chelsea in terms of finance and resources, they’ve certainly planned for the future well.
In recent times, Jake Livermore has been a shining example to Spurs youngsters that it is possible to break into the first-team at White Hart Lane, even if they’re playing a higher standard of football than ever, and in the past the North London academy has produced Sol Campbell and Ledley King.
Well, next season could be the chance for a number of youngsters to follow Livermore’s footsteps, and not only have an impact on their club but also the Premier League. Here are the Top Five Tottenham Starlets who could have a huge impact next season.

SOULEYMANE COULIBALY
[/b]Souleymane Coulibaly hasn’t forged much of a club career for himself, but at youth level there’s been no stopping the striker who’s been dubbed the next Didier Drogba.
The Ivorian forward was signed up by Tottenham after scoring nine goals in four games at the Fifa U17s World Cup for his country, and then produced further goal- scoring displays in the NextGen series and the FA Youth Cup.
The 18-year-old clearly has an eye for goal, and true poachers have a knack for being able to find space even at the top level of the game.
Coulibably is certainly one for the future, and could feature next season, but he’d be up against fellow youngster Harry Kane who also has a place on this Top Five.

[b]STEVEN CAULKER
Steven Caulker has already arguably made an impact on the Premier League, all be it a rather sturdy and unglamorous one. Last season, Caulker was part of a Swansea City team that exceeded all expectations with a solid mid-table finish.
This year, having returned from his season- long loan at the Liberty Stadium, Caulker has filled in for Spurs centre-back Younes Kaboul who’s spent most of the season sidelined with a long-term injury.
Andre Villas-Boas clearly rates the youngster, who has made 23 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions so far this campaign, and he’s certainly one for the future.
The 21-year-old defender has even got a senior England cap under his belt and was part of Team GB at the London Olympics.
Caulker has been slowly but surely building up his reputation at White Hart Lane, and although Kaboul will be back next season, he may find stiff competition for a starting place should Caulker’s form continue at the start of next season.


DANNY ROSE
Danny Rose has spent this season on loan at Sunderland, and despite the club having a somewhat lacklustre campaign, the England U21 man can certainly finish the year with his head held high.
The left-back has had a dramatic year following horrific racial abuse from Serbia fans on international duty, but Rose has shown he can handle the pressure of the limelight and perform.
He’s now made 17 league appearances for the Black Cats and added some much needed experience to his game that would have been hard to come by at White Hart Lane.
The 22-year-old was always rated highly by former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and could now have enough confidence to force his way into the Tottenham team.
Although he’s unlikely to overtake Benoit Assou-Ekotto next season as the Tottenham No.3, his versatility of being able to play anywhere along the left flank make him a great bench option, and if he manages to produce some more sensational strikes like he did against Arsenal in 2010, he’ll soon be having a positive impact at White Hart Lane as well as on the Premier League.

TOM CARROLL
Spurs youth product Tom Carroll has spent the last few seasons on loan, firstly to Leyton Orient and then to Derby County, making 12 appearances for both, however this year Andre Villas-Boas has decided to keep the 20-year- old around. And it’s easy to see why.
Although Carroll has had a rather small cameo role in Spurs’ season, when he does play he shows glimpses of a highly technical, very able midfielder. Carroll comes highly rated from Tottenham fans who believe he could well be a future England star.
His only drawbacks are the fact he’s just 5 foot 7, and additionally has a very wirey frame which may leave him exposed in the Premier League.
But then again, that never held Lionel Messi back, and Carroll certainly knows how to play with the ball at his feet.
With the likes of Tom Huddlestone, Scott Parker, Sandro and Moussa Dembele all being a similar breed of midfielder,
Carroll’s precise passing nature and excellent ball retention could lead him to becoming the perfect balance to Spurs’ rough and ready central midfielders.

HARRY KANE
Harry Kane didn’t have the best of times on loan at Norwich this season, ending up with no goals in five appearances and spending much of his time at Carrow Road injured, but considering the striker is just 19 years of age, experience in the English top flight can’t be a bad thing.
Kane has had more successful spells on loan to Leyton Orient and then Millwall, scoring nine goals during his time at The New Den.
With the current shortage of forwards at White Hart Lane this season, and further complications regarding the situation with bad-boy Emmanuel Adebayor, the England U19 man could feature in this campaign and stake a claim to a place in the Spurs squad on a regular basis in the future.
Perhaps he won’t be in the Starting XI, but Kane is already in the fight for a place on AVB’s bench, and could solidify that position for himself by next season if he can show his striker’s instinct and provide some added goals to the Tottenham cause when given the opportunity to do so.
